Is there no middle ground where you can say Bryce has some aspects of gameplay to improve on but at the same time saying that expecting him to come Into the season at 210lbs is stupid?

If you check my post history you'll see that over the last few months I was hopeful he could at least turn the corner into a decent starter for the time being. But the early returns I'm seeing after hearing his "advisors" rejoicing on his behalf for what we spent on the OL after gutting the defense does not look any different than the same guy who hid at the combine when the lights were bright. I'm not going to bury my head in the sand on that.

Nothing wrong with acknowledging reality but thousands of posts and all negative, sad, despair makes me wonder why even show up to a board like this if it promotes that much sorrow? As far as Bryce goes the reality is odds are against him that he will turn this all around and yep his size and more importantly his arm strength is a concern. Doesn't mean I'm going to sit around negative for the rest of my days though.

Its their copium.....to use the most annoying phrase on the Huddle

The same people in here defending bryce told us a year ago around this time he would add muscle and weight when he was able to start an off season program now thats irrelevant when the time has come. Not surprising lol

The offseason program started today.

    • I think i like the Oregon Safety better
    • Do you see the vision?  As of now our Carolina Panthers don’t have an identity. We are not an offensive powerhouse and on defense we only started getting it together towards the end of the year last year. In my opinion we are much closer to having an incredible defense that scares the daylights out of people. I say the answer is simple and we fully commit to that possible identity.    Emmanuel McNeil Warren (E man)  This guy is like a shark lurking around ready to attack anyone. Fearless. He is easily a top 20 talent in my eyes, and the only reason he isn’t more talked about is because he’s from Toledo. Do your due diligence as panther fans and watch his tape I beg you. Once you’re done watching let me ask you this, if you dropped E - Man into the strong safety spot on the Buckeyes, he isn’t being talked about as one of the best prospects we’ve seen in some time given the skill set you see with this guy? I think so. Put his name on the card and turn it in at 19.    Jacob Rodriguez  High effort, High energy, High IQ guy that flies around the field. We all know Jacob at this point. My only concern is he’s a little bit too good and I’m not sure he makes it to us at our pick in the second. With the additions of Jacob and E- Man I think our defense goes to top 5 in the league. We would have a duo of linebackers that rival anything we’ve had in our past. I’m not a GM so I don’t know what the possible answer could be, but if there’s a way we can comfortably trade up in the second to secure this guy I think we find a way to do it.    Spend the rest of our picks fixing the O - line.    Thoughts Panthers fans? Who’s the ideal duo for yall?
    • OL is arguably much more important to the success of a young QB. (Or any QB)
