Problem I have with this is should of is different than can.

PK has the quickness to get across and make one of those saves. You need your goalie to be able to pull a rabbit out of his ass in the playoffs.

Shitstorkin is beatable, the Canes laid an absolute egg in the first and this was still a close game....

Rangers got them with their active stick action shutting down the passing lanes and they still managed 3 goals. If they can clean up the penalty kill I like their chances going forward. Next game is huge though, can’t go back home down 0-2.

 Just go take a chill pill or direct your pissed off in the right direction. Most of us saw the canes played the better game besides some early game fug ups and Freddie being mentally not there. We controlled the game when it mattered(well besides the refs), this is just getting started. I suspect a pissed off canes team on Tuesday, rags best beware.

      I wonder if they'd consider trading Rasheed Walker to a team that needs tackle help but missed out in the draft?

      LOL. This is such a Panthers fan take.  Anyone who falls to us must suck because some other team didn't take them before.  We got lucky with Lemon, Thieneman, and Freeling all falling to us (honestly any of the three is a A+) but the WR and S positions are much deeper than the LT position in this draft.  We got the LT w/ the most upside at 19.  Mauigoa played RT in college and some think he is a guard in the nfl.  Spano played RT in college and some think he is a guard in the NFL due to short arms.  Blake Miller played RT in college and is not as good as Freeling.  Proctor is a true LT but his ability to handle quick edge's worries me (see Icky).  Freeling is a true LT and a gifted pass protector.  Many think he has a very high ceiling and will benefit from not having to start right away.  This is how you build a franchise.

      After watching Cam get killed for years behind a bad Oline and having to watch the 2021 and 2023 Olines I will never complain about this team putting resources into that spot.  We got a true LT who could really push Rasheed Walker for the day 1 job. Go back and watch Iceky's draft profile from 2022 and all the talk was Ickey would be an all-pro guard in a zone blocking scheme, but he could play LT in a gap power run scheme. That's why Ickey looked really good when Wilks took over and we just started running gap run plays and just mauled people up front but under Canales we've been more of a zone running team. Ickey can survive at LT with his pass blocking but his true strength will always be his ability to just move guys in the run game and that's a skill set that's better used at guard.  Take another OT later on day 3 to learn from Moton to take over RT in a couple of years and let Walker and Freeling battle it out for the day 1 LT job then next offseason trade one of Hunt of Lewis and let Ickey move inside to guard.
