We're pretty solid at safety but I've always liked Ken Hamlin, the guy can blow people up.

If he'd take a like a 1.5-2M a season, I'd do it.

I agree that he'll probably want more than we could give him, but he would be an instant upgrade over Martin or Godfrey at the free safety position. I do think, however, that both of those guys have the potential to be a quality safety for us.

Godfrey and Martin both looked excellent last year (Godfrey moreso after coming back from the injury). I like both of them a lot more after what they showed.

BUT, Hamlin would be an instant upgrade as of right now... I just don't see Hurney being interested.

We will not be bringing in Flozell Adams.. that is an almost certainty..

Hamlin has always seems a bit over-rated, but I wouldn't be mad if we found out he wasn't commanding a huge salary..
