It's also closer to, IDK....the actual fanbase?

I have worked in Clemson a bunch over the years. Never seen or met a Panthers fan in almost 20 years of going there.

Also, if you go to any sports store in Anderson or Seneca, there is a lot more Falcons gear being sold there than Panthers.... So I get it.

I predict 143 people show up to watch our beloved Panthers today.

Only 127 are actually allowed in to view the practice, however, due to your standard run of the mill Clemson meth bust which results in 16 arrests at the gate.

It's hard to say cause the NFL obviously takes a huge backseat to college football down here (I live in Greenville SC).  I haven't met many Panthers fans either, but I don't know how much of that is because Clemson/USC overpowers all football conversations.

That's exactly what I mean. The most common thing I hear in SC from football fans is, "I don't watch the NFL."

I predict less than 100 people will show up for Fan Fest.

That's funny I am from SC and don’t watch college games hardly ever. You are probably right overall but don’t act like there are no SC fans. There are a few of us.

Not enough, sadly. I have had too many experiences being in SC sports bars and there being more people rooting against the Panthers than for them. Definitely has left a bad taste in my mouth.

    • It's hard to get a sense of how these guys stack up with such a wide range of rankings.  I'm beginning to think they are just mocking these guys rather than coming up with a true overall rank.
    • Walker is not a tweener. He is a versatile LB who can rush the passer from multiple positions and also play the run and cover.  He is a better version of Luvu and Evero has already shown that he knows how to use a player like that.
    • I can easily see that ~8-10ish number for first round graded prospects.  There's not much top end talent this season.  I think it's been clear for a minute this class is severely lacking all-pro level players.  If I had to shoot something out right now, I have around 12 guys as 1sts:  Hunter, Carter, Graham, Ward, Johnson, Jeanty, Warren, Starks, Grant, Pearce, McMillan, Nolen Some fringe like Zabel, Morrison, Egbuka, Green, etc.  Not high on the OTs but teams will reach.    We're in a good position to see who makes the stupid picks ahead of us and land one of the few higher end guys.  Let it fall into our laps and don't reach just because we're all dying for a better Nose or OLB.   I do think there's a potential IDL and EDGE that could work at 8, but I'm reserving my arguments/cheerleading for now on specific prospects.
