Does that mean they won't play?  Don't the starters typically like to get out there and break a sweat if they're not playing in the upcoming game?

They didn’t mention Dalton in that group so maybe we get some legit qb play for a drive or two

We are gonna be one of the most unprepared teams week one. Would not be surprised if we get blown out.

Par for the course. The panthers laissez faire attitude about everything is half the reason they suck so bad. Rudderless franchise

The last 3 offseasons you could predict everything based off the joke management of the team in preseason…..this season continues the same trend.   Flags are up and waving Canales isn’t the answer and this is going to be a long year

This is so fuging dumb. Just idiotic. Will find any reason to criticize the young man. He has to be the coach too?? Did you hear what Aaron Rodgers said? Sounded a lot like Bryce. Yall need a new hobby. Panthers making yall stupid.

Aaron Rodgers is a veteran HOF/Super Bowl  QB coming off an injury….stupid is making that comparison

Bryce needs to play.  The entire O featuring a brand new O, O, OC, HC, etc needs the reps. We are poorly run.  It has shown the last several preseasons.  This one too.
Panthers do make people stupid.  For example, it has folks defending THE worst team in all of professional sports as not continuing to be obviously dumb.  Which they are showing once again.

called this before last game.  Poorly run orgs get easy to predict.  I’ve called it all pretty easy for years now.  Basically the start of Rhule’s year 2 you have to intentionally ignore the poo show that is clearly ready to roll

    • I'll say 6. I don't know that we learned a whole lot about this team during preseason that we didn't already know. We didn't play the starters enough to really get a feel for what to expect. We had one good drive against the Browns, one 3-and-out and two 3-and-outs against the Texans. That's an extremely small sample size across 3 games regardless of performance. My camp/preseason takeaways: Jalen Coker might be the best WR on this team and is certainly no worse than #2. Nic Scourton is going to be a good player for us. Possibly very good. Bobby Brown was our best free agent addition and will do more to help the defense than anyone. Jack Plummer isn't an NFL QB. Not even a practice squad guy. Having anyone other than Canales and Evero call plays was a really stupid and pointless idea. Our depth is largely non-existent, especially on defense. The three areas we actually DO have depth are on the OL, in the WR corp. and at RB. I can't fathom why Dan Morgan didn't do more to upgrade ILB during the offseason. We better hope Lathan Ransom steps up at FS because if he doesn't we have a massive hole there. For all the hype surrounding Sanders and Evans, Tommy Tremble is still the best TE on the roster. I'm only slightly less enthusiastic going into the regular season than I was a month ago. I think our starters on offense are solid and we should be pretty good there unless Bryce totally regresses. On defense, we're probably bottom 3rd in the league if 100% healthy and significantly worse than that if injuries become an issue. We badly need at least two of our rookies to become high-level players early (ideally one of the pass rushers + Ransom) and at least 2 of our free agent additions (ideally Moehrig + Bobby Brown) to be significant upgrades over last year. Call me pessimistically optimistic 😆
    • 2010 was worse. Not much worse but worse.
    • Lol since 2017 the Panthers are 47-85,    Also since 2017 the Giants are 40-91-1   Lol
