Who has Clemson beat?

Texas plays in the SEC. That's respect in itself.

2 more teams presently ranked in the top 25 than Texas has.

yes yes, they play in the SEC.  A tale old as time.

you didn’t address my point in either post.  Reality is the top of the SEC is weaker now than it has been.  What we see with the SEC is the bottom and middle improving.  This current Texas and UGA team wouldn’t belong in most of the final 4s from prior years.  They would be the 4th team smashed that didn’t belong.

so yeah, Texas would have to win 4 straight.  That gives them the worst odds given everyone is meh out of the “favorites”.   I’ll take Oregon.   The former PAC12 team.   And even they aren’t good by old standards.  Trash Cade Klubnik got better production than their Heisman candidate.

* please note at no time have I called Clemson good.  They are a shell of older Clemson teams.  They haven’t played 1 compete game all season.   The point is there are no powerhouse teams right now in college football.  These are not the SEC teams of old at the top.  They are clearly weaker.  What we saw was them get weaker and the SC, Vandys, etc get better

What’s really funny is saying Vandy would win the ACC, take it from someone that knows, sometimes it’s best just not to post anything when drunk / high

Sir I'm high off the gym. These are good clean energy thoughts. I don't abuse drugs. If I'm high off anything it's the whey protein from my smoothie.

Hit the gym bro get you some clean energy thoughts like me.

If Clemson is no good then we have no issues.

Vandy beat Alabama. The point is any team in the SEC can with any team on any Saturday. That conference is deep and loaded.

Vandy would probably win the ACC if we being honest.

They couldn’t even run through the Sun Belt conference undefeated based on this season.  They lost to Georgia State.   Folks have been playing this nonsensical SEC trinkle down overhype game for a long time.

Bama wouldn’t have gone through the ACC undefeated this year if they caught the wrong schedule.  Why? Because the top of the SEC doesn’t have great teams this year vs years past.  They just got talented rosters.

Miami, Clemson, SMU, Syracuse, Louisville, GT, Duke.  I don’t think any SEC team THIS year could run through those 7 and not catch an L.   Old top SEC teams could

Good is relative.  They aren’t good by the standard of what a good Clemson team is.   Better than the last 3 years if healthy but still not good.

which also is true about present day Bama, OSU, etc.  Which remains my point.  The top of college football is weaker vs the past.  It’s weak this year.  Any of these teams can catch an L from a host of teams to a degree that wasn’t there not long ago.

This might be the best argument to do drugs in the history of the world. LOL

I have no clue how we can start 3 guards and be this bad at shooting the 3 ball. Jackson HAS to be a starter to give us a little more size if these guards can’t shoot from deep and his offense is just as good. Living in Birmingham it hurts my soul that we lost to both Auburn and Alabama.  Thank God most here don’t care about NFL football or being a Carolina sport fan would be even harder.

No offensive system to create open shots and no inside presence to suck the D in. End result is guards taking a lot of bad shots.

Lastest Ive heard about UNC and bill, they are still flirting. Bill is not the HC.

I think he's demanding his terms and thus far UNC has agreed.

Just crazy to believe this.

He's keeps upping the terms and demands.

I feel its 50/50, still a huge part of me is like "hell no, this would never happen".....but its too far given they have met more than 5 times now.

UNC next step is public pressure.

My bingo card hass too many "1 out of 10 billion" odds filled this year.

Others know but the portal is already open and players have entered. I believe UNC even lost a player or two already. UNC wants his confirmation, Bill keeps adding terms.....AND UNC keeps saying "Ok".

Still regardless about what others have said, Hes not the HC currently.

It's like Bill didn't believe they would agree to his first mountain of demands and now its like he keeps adding more hoping they quit giving the "OK".

UNC is really painted into a corner now and old Bill probably knows it. Here the whole sports world is expecting Belichick to UNC to be announced imminently. Imagine not hiring him now? Whatever poor bastard you hire instead better make Nick Saban look like Matt Rhule in comparison. Oh, you know who wouldn't have lost that game? The greatest coach of all-time who wanted this fuging job. Lord, it would be brutal. Might as well just name Kitchens the permanent replacement and fire him after two or three poo seasons and just try the whole process over again.

    • Here’s a summary of the JJ and Luke podcast transcript. Opening / Bryce Young Fifth-Year Option     •    JJ: Breaking news — Panthers picked up Bryce Young’s fifth-year option at $25.9M, guaranteed, coming in 2027. Combined with his 2025 salary of ~$6M, that’s $31M over two years — called it a “no-brainer.”     •    Luke: Enthusiastic about the move. Highlighted Bryce’s improving TD/INT ratios (11/10 → 15/9 → 23/11) and the value of entering year three with Dave Canales. Noted $25M is a bargain relative to the $60M top of market. Luke’s Personal Update — Charlotte Christian Football     •    Luke: Working with Charlotte Christian school football program, which hired a new head coach. Coaches include Greg Olsen, Luke, and Greg’s dad Chris Olsen (a New Jersey State coaching Hall of Famer).     •    JJ: Jokingly quipped that Charlotte Christian’s coaching staff is “the world’s greatest” — a Fox analyst, a Hall of Famer, and the best Panthers RB ever — all coaching middle school football.     •    Luke: Praised Chris Olsen’s deep football knowledge spanning decades and his ability to connect with kids. Round 1, Pick 19 — Monroe Freeling, OT, Georgia     •    JJ: Panthers were on the clock and submitted their pick almost immediately — a sign of confidence and preparation. Freeling is 6’7”, 320 lbs, played in the SEC in a pro-style system.     •    Luke: Loved the pick. Emphasized you can never have too many quality offensive linemen. Noted Freeling’s size, athleticism, and arm length as key traits. Said the pick also reflects team’s philosophy of drafting great people, not just great players.     •    JJ: Noted reporter Darren Gantt compared Freeling favorably to Jordan Gross — bigger, heavier, and faster — as a potential franchise left tackle.     •    Luke: Pointed out that young players like Freeling still have physical development ahead of them, comparing the trajectory to Christian McCaffrey’s growth from age 20 onward. Round 2, Pick 49 — Lee Hunter, DT, Texas Tech     •    JJ: Panthers traded up from 51 to 49 (pick swap with Minnesota) to grab Hunter. Played audio from Panthers area scout Kaden McLuhan, who scouted Hunter.     •    Scout Kaden McLuhan (audio): Said Hunter’s size is immediately striking, and that everyone around him spoke glowingly about his character, energy, and love for the game.     •    Luke: Praised Hunter as a massive (6’3”, 320 lbs, ~34” arms) two-gap nose tackle who fits perfectly in the Evero defense. Compared his prospect profile to Akiem Hicks. Said having Derek Brown, Bobby Brown, Derrick Brown, Terson Wharton, and now Hunter creates varied body types that stress offensive linemen.     •    JJ: Noted Hunter ranked third among all prospects in run-stuff rate and sixth in interior pass-rush win rate — addressing a perception that he couldn’t rush the passer. Rounds 3–7 Highlights     •    Luke: Highlighted WR Brazle (3rd round, 6’4”, 437 speed, 1,000+ yards at Tennessee) as the vertical threat the offense needed. Also praised OL Sam Heck (5th round) as a technically sound player whose “short arms” caused him to fall but who has proven himself.     •    Luke: Mentioned CB Will Lee (6’1”, 33” arms) fits the Panthers’ DB prototype — big, long corners.     •    Luke: Praised S/LB hybrid Zaki Wheatley (5th round, 6’3”) as a big nickel similar to Trayvon Merek.     •    Luke: Excited about the linebacker competition between Devin Lloyd, Trevvin Wallace, and Claudin Cherless.     •    JJ: Noted Panthers had the #1 “steal/overreach” rating in the entire draft — drafting players lower than consensus big boards projected. Around the League     •    Luke: Admitted being “a little jealous” that the Miami Dolphins drafted LB Jacob Rodriguez (Luke’s favorite LB in the draft). Has personal connections to Miami’s coaching staff (Jeff Hafley, DC Shawn Dugen — a childhood teammate).     •    Luke: Also noted Miami’s selection of OT/G Kaden Proctor out of Alabama, who will likely move to guard. League Trends — Bigger Tight Ends / 12 & 13 Personnel     •    JJ: Observed the NFL saw its highest run rate in ~11 years (~52%) and a notable pivot toward big blocking tight ends in this draft.     •    Luke: Explained the cyclical nature of NFL offense/defense evolution — as defenses get smaller to match spread offenses, teams counter with bigger personnel (12/13 formations), which then forces defenses to get bigger at the nickel/“big nickel” spot. Called it an ongoing arms race.
