Yeah, I think the book on Ward is already pretty well written.  It’s just him continuing to be the same dude this year.  I think the only thing that could really add a chapter to his book would be getting into the playoff and doing something vs those schools

I’d probably go Ward or Sanders personally

Sanders is a legit NFL QB. When he has time to throw he's amongst the best QB in the country.

The fact he has played behind a terrible Oline and still survived has impressed me. However there is no chance Prime let's him play here so he's not even someone I think we would even consider.

Basically show me something in the playoffs do it all season.

He does that then yeah I could change my mind on drafting a QB #1 overall. He looks good not denying it, but it's still early.

Tepper would never allow that or would he?

Prime "Only way I let you draft my son is if I'm coaching him."

@LinvilleGorge will no longer be a Panthers fan if this happens lmao

If that’s the deal I’m out.  And I would imagine most other teams would be as well.  Could very well go undrafted.

I'm begging for it. Give me the reason I need to walk away from this toxic relationship. I'm like a battered spouse with my Panthers fandom. I'd leave but I swear he could change and we got kids and poo.

    • I'd give Bryce until the trade deadline to prove he's the answer and if he's not I'm dumping him for whatever pick we can get and I'm riding with Dalton the rest of the way.  2 and a half years is enough time to determine if he can be the QB going forward so for Bryce he needs to come out over the next couple of weeks and show that. The other players in the locker room don't wanna waste another year of their careers waiting to see if you'll ever figure it out.  If you took a poll of the players in the locker room I'm sure they'd rather lose with a respected veteran Dalton who at least gives them some creditability versus losing with Bryce who the entire media will say was let down by his supporting cast when in reality it's Bryce's physical limitations that are holding this team back.
    • I agree that he should’ve never been the pick at 1. In my 44 years I’ve never seen a team invest that much in a QB who is my size. I’m not meant for the NFL and neither is he.    Accepting we can’t change the past, I think it’s the correct call to keep playing him hoping that he will prove us wrong. I think we were dumb not to draft a QB this past year and let him learn and compete but that’s our reality.    I’m hoping this is the last year with the BY experiment and he deliverers us 1. To the playoffs or 2. The number one pick and we draft a real QB.
    • In his first interview after the surgery he sounded absolutely miserable.  Man that must beat you down to have that done
