5th now, and after texas takes care of A&M next week, we will be 4th. If Vandy upsets Tennessee we will be 3rd 😄

Don’t bet on Texas taking care of A&M, Texas has played one team this year with 7 or more wins, in that game they got stomped.  Another reason why I posted above about the ACC getting exposed.  Texas hasn’t beaten anyone and they are the top of the SEC.  Alabama should have lost to SC, did lose to unranked OU and Vandy.  Ole Miss just sucks, they have Georgia and that’s about it.  I see GT beating Georgia next week, in fact I see Clemson beating SC, Louisville over Kentucky and Florida over FSU

I watch a little South Carolina football, Very little really but I saw some of the opener with ODU and some of a few more games. This guy Sellers is serious. I didn't realize he was so green in that ODU game I just thought he was not that good. From that game to now, that kid has made huge strides.

I watched most of the Missouri game and caught the endings or 4th qtrs of the Alabama and LSU games, and I just discovered that he is like 19 years old. It looks like he is going to be somebody to me. People should look at him.

Sure looks like Clemson vs South Carolina might esssntially be a play in game for the playoffs.

so just purely from a “rivalry” standpoint, that setups for a great game at least. Should be good fun on an in state level and bragging rights.

I used rivalry in quotations since SC has only won one game in the last decade and has overall been dominated in the series.

I don't see Clemson getting in unless they win the ACC.

Be close.  AP and coaches for them at #12.  Teams head or them will lose.  The SC win would be a good one.   So what do you do with them.

Committee would defiantly have to consider them for an at large.  Never would have believed it was possible until that perfect storm of Ls Saturday

No but they will more than likely get 2.  The funny thing is, the SEC has a chance to only get 1.

If GT beats Georgia this weekend the only way Georgia gets in is if they beat Texas then what happens to Texas.

Clemson beats SC, they will be the higher rank out of Alabama, Texas AM and Ole Miss

Vandy can beat Tennesse, if that happens Tennesse is out

So I see SMU beating Miami, Miami is out

Clemson and SMU from the ACC

Texas or Georgia from the SEC

Mack Brown has backed off that return talk now saying his focus is on State and not the future. If we win he'll be back for sure. A competitive loss and he's probably back. But if we aren't competitive I think he's probably out.

So with that said, as hard as this is to say... State PLEASE best the poo out of us. Embarrass us. Taunt. Celebrate. Turn Keenan red. Save us from ourselves!

Miami still has to beat Syracuse and they struggle w/ everyone in the ACC.

Then someone takes an L in the ACC title game.  So you just not going to drop them after an L?

I think the math is now open for 2 ACC teams to get in.  Think it would depend on what the Ls look like going forward.

and that's if Clemson can beat a ranked SEC USC.

People will be arguing about the 11th and 12 spot just like they used to argue about spot #4

but I mean, however gets in....doesn't belong in the CFP.  It should be 4 teams.

    • Lil Stanky 100% in the dot tonight... And our 2nd line has been our best offensive line this season. Maybe our 2C really was on the roster this whole time...?
    • That’s a grade I kind of expected tbh. I’m not a huge fan of NS, but he’s not as bad as what the huddle says he is minus the horrible game he had vs the Rams. I’ve always thought he’s often used as a scapegoat. The improved pass rush should hide his deficiencies a little bit better if he’s the game one starter. FS might have to be a position we punt on this year unless Thieneman falls to us at 19. The reality is, you're going to have a few average players in certain spots for a team with as many holes we had before free agency started. You can’t sign everyone.
    • I am by no means trying to say he's a world beater. I'm saying it's trending in the right direction. Especially when measured against himself.i think the team feel the same way or else they wouldn't have picked up his option. Plus I think there is a new idea in the NFL about these young QBs. Teams give up to soon. Browns gave up to soon on baker same with the jets on Geno and darnold. Maybe they are who you thought they were in the draft process and they need more time to develop than you originally planned. Either way. I do think he is as capable as darnold is as far as you can win a championship with him. And something he does have that darnold doesn't is he is clutch.  If I need one more drive and 2 mins to go I'm betting on Bryce and I am far from a homer, just going off his game winning drives. He has that dog in him on the last drive.
