Hurney through draft and free agency put some DUDES on this team, and largely kept them here. Hardy going psycho may have cost us a Super Bowl. With him still on the team,  we don’t lose that game. He got us Norwell. Prohel Jake, Ginn, Olsen kalil, Kris, agent 58, kuechly, hardy, and probably many more that I can’t remember. Leaders. Winners. Guys who never quit. Fox. He kept many past their prime but we had an identity.

Wait, are you counting the Ginn family as a win?

I mean, as frustrating as he was, yes. However he’s getting the history wrong, hurney was fired in 2012, ginn joined the team in 2013 and 2015 which means it was a gettleman signing. He had 10 TDs in 2015, which is a credit to what a monster Cam was at that time

6 amazing 1st rounders and yes I am including Bryce.  Too bad the best 3 were traded in what can be considered as the worst trades in NFL history.  Seriously all three were incredibly stupid

How was Ginn not a win? He was a very solid deep threat with Cam throwing up him. I don't see how one couldn't claim him as a win of a singing. He wasn't going to set the world on fire as a possession receiver with good hands but one thing that guy did well was run for a bomb.

I don't see much in the way of amazing. The only one that really significantly outplayed their position was Moore and it isn't what I would consider "amazing."

Of the trades one is clearly awful(Burns) because of what was on the table before.

CMC was an insanely good haul which Fitterer promptly squandered.

The Moore trade will completely revolve around Young's career. If he becomes a franchise QB, no one will mention it as a bad trade. If Young flops, it will be a terrible trade.

    • I honestly can’t believe this team’s turnaround this season. It’s surreal. Figured healthy we’d be fringe playoffs and with another lottery pick could finally turn the corner, but we don’t even need that. This group is ready. We haven’t played remotely well the last 5 games and yet still blew out 5 bad teams by 16+ each game like it was casual practice. We had a few solid teams with Kemba and Big Al but this is easily our best group since the original Hornets moved to NO. Man, what a shift in culture this new ownership group and front office has brought. So damn happy to see it after years of suffering and consistently meaningless games in this stretch of previous seasons.   Only 2.5 games out of the 6 seed, although Miami, Atlanta and Orlando have been playing well too. Gonna be a fun final stretch, hopefully we can get a top 8 seed at the very least. Celtics tomorrow will be a good test. Would be huge to keep the road winning streak up against a very hot top team on the 2nd half of a back to back. We’ve played Boston pretty well the last few years with much of this same group despite sucking so I do feel pretty good about it. Kon is due for a huge game coming off a few cold shooting games (although despite the poor shooting he’s been contributing well with defense, assists and rebounds).
    • It amazes me how underrated Horn has become after he finally was able to stay on the field. Sure last year wasn’t perfect but he was still a huge reason for our rebound defensively and I’d say he’s easily a top 10 corner. You don’t want to see Mike Jackson as our top corner. Any player is available for the right price but I’d be extremely hesitant to move Horn even for a big haul from LA.
