2 posters who didn’t like Cam, find a way to get in on a thread about Cam.

Hated the way Cam was lol, well, Bryce is specifically for those 2 posters. They are who Tepper had in mind when making the Bryce pick “let’s get someone in here who is just one of the guys and causes no waves”

The one great season ended like that. I'll never forgive that play.

And according to Cal it still haunts him but like with everything else in life we take the good with the bad. He had a split second to make a decision and did not do what he needed to do as has been said by him in interviews with regret. Every great athlete has plays or seasons where they feel they fell short in the careers unfortunately. If it were not for him, the team would have never even been close to getting to that huge game in the first place also. It was very unfortunate for sure but I hold zero animosity towards Cam.

If he were just simply dropped in.

If he had been on the team the investment in offense would not have to have been so over the top. We'd have better on defense.

The loading up the offense just went over and above. Hell when I was posting the tally of offense vs defense drafting, it didn't hit me upside the head until I saw it on the field.

As far as the defense, they have had very little time as a unit, pieces in and out every day almost. They will get better with reps together but with Derrrick out, that's tough.

The defence is boned now.

I think Evero is a very talented DC, but he's just lost his best player for the season - one who plays a pivotal position.

The Chargers will run on us at will today - as will everyone else.

The offensive line and receiving group are probably better.  Running backs and tight end probably worse.  Defense isn't even close to what we had in 2013-15, so much worse.  So we probably get 8 wins.

I think you're underestimating how bad the D is this year.

The Saints marched up and down the field on us at will - you've got Carr freakin' clowning Horn mid-game about how many TDs he's thrown.

We'd be much more competitive in games with MVP season Newton at QB, but we'd still lose almost all of them.

    • Oh please with the wallowing in victimhood I'm going to take my ball and go home routine. You were just in here referring to people as super weird haters because they don't completely agree with your borderline delusional spin on what Bryce Young is and isn't as a fourth year starter. We can hope by some miracle that Bryce Young will actually be able to lead a formidable passing offense this season without being irrational homers and pretending verfiable data and what we have seen with our own two eyes doesn't tell us exactly what he has been to this point which is someone who moves the ball at a historically low rate.
    • I am curious who's behind all of this though. A video and photos from years ago surfacing? Someone has a vendetta and is driving this PR campaign. I'm loving it, but I'd also like to know who said mystery figure is.
    • I say positive things about Bryce when he earns them. Which he has a handful of times. It is all here and on the record but your lobby won’t focus on that or the flat out truth inside of our critical comments.  It is a constant thing with him and his backers - one or two good things and people are trying to extrapolate that to proof we should commit to him, while ignoring or making excuses for the larger portion of his track record.  When he is able to consistently turn in franchise QB extension worthy outings the tone of the posts will reflect that.  I have already said that if he would play like he did in the WC as often as we need him to, I would be okay with keeping him.  See you don’t want to talk about that though because it shows actual fair minded evaluation not stanning.
