*Slaps hood*.  You can fit so many line of scrimmage passes in this bad boy.

That's pretty good. Lol.

You don't need to invest in a deep threat either! We have streamlined things to eliminate that need.

In this economy, getting the most out of the least is going to put you on top.

Savings that can be passed on to help other positions.

I mean, you just won't have to deal with these diva receiver types, tell them to get that big money from someone that's still behind the curve.

Has the premier exterior trim package, no extra charge.

That 4 cylinder is perfect for the person looking for fuel economy.

Hell I'll throw in free tire rotations and a quick release.

Can you imagine hitching your job and livelihood to that dude?

Frank did it for millions knowing he was getting fired again in less than a year. That's about the only time I would do it, for a bunch of cash and headed out of that profession.

I would take the fourth right now and sign Zappe or Mike White as the backup.  Call me crazy----or I would bring up Plummer.  Look at the history of teams that traded starting qbs-they are cheap--low risk, high reward.

Bryce just ain't a dog.  Never had it.  Front runner, and he can play in ideal conditions.  The NFL doesn't have ideal conditions.

Who cares if he's a dog? You either have the abilities or you don't.

    • I wonder if they'd consider trading Rasheed Walker to a team that needs tackle help but missed out in the draft?
    • LOL. This is such a Panthers fan take.  Anyone who falls to us must suck because some other team didn't take them before.  We got lucky with Lemon, Thieneman, and Freeling all falling to us (honestly any of the three is a A+) but the WR and S positions are much deeper than the LT position in this draft.  We got the LT w/ the most upside at 19.  Mauigoa played RT in college and some think he is a guard in the nfl.  Spano played RT in college and some think he is a guard in the NFL due to short arms.  Blake Miller played RT in college and is not as good as Freeling.  Proctor is a true LT but his ability to handle quick edge's worries me (see Icky).  Freeling is a true LT and a gifted pass protector.  Many think he has a very high ceiling and will benefit from not having to start right away.  This is how you build a franchise.
    • After watching Cam get killed for years behind a bad Oline and having to watch the 2021 and 2023 Olines I will never complain about this team putting resources into that spot.  We got a true LT who could really push Rasheed Walker for the day 1 job. Go back and watch Iceky's draft profile from 2022 and all the talk was Ickey would be an all-pro guard in a zone blocking scheme, but he could play LT in a gap power run scheme. That's why Ickey looked really good when Wilks took over and we just started running gap run plays and just mauled people up front but under Canales we've been more of a zone running team. Ickey can survive at LT with his pass blocking but his true strength will always be his ability to just move guys in the run game and that's a skill set that's better used at guard.  Take another OT later on day 3 to learn from Moton to take over RT in a couple of years and let Walker and Freeling battle it out for the day 1 LT job then next offseason trade one of Hunt of Lewis and let Ickey move inside to guard.
