Brock Purdy is starting to show what he is which is an incredible Mr. Irrelevant pick but a marginal starter/good backup type of QB.

Which is why I think they'd make an ideal trading partner for Bryce--they can't justify a new deal for Purdy and Shanny has an abnormally high opinion of himself.

Take one of their 3rds and call it a day.

lol zero chance. Trade a 6'1" 220 lb solid starter for BY? If you actually compare NFL career highlights they're not even close to the same category, regardless of the weapons around them. Purdy might not be legit top 10 but he's beat out a handful of guys that could probably beat out BY in training camp if given the opportunity

Maybe a bit more than zero. It's not like they don't have a track record. This is the same franchise that had the worst draft day trade for a QB before Carolina took the crown. Never underestimate the hubris of a boy genius coach in an echo chamber.

    • I member him staying after practices with only to see he was wearing heavy weight vest, one of his trademarks. He also put in 10 years, right? People forget he was the ST stud that called the snap and made sure everyone lined up right. He was one of the "glue" guys that bought his "lunch pail" to work.... He was a willing solider, all teams need a couple of them. He blocked for sooo many panthers RBs- Davis, lane, Williams, foster, goings and when there was huge injuries he took over the starter duties and had a couple 100 yard games. If you followed hoover, he took the perfect RB path cause he was just a slow heavy one himself....
    • Walker likely depends on a couple of things. What exactly did Dan promise him, to start with.  How much other interest he actually had for a starter job at high pay is another question. It isn’t outside the realm of possibility that he could stay on as a swing tackle waiting to take Moton’s spot when it opens.    I can’t get myself to consider Icky as a viable anything until we see him back on the field.     Hunt seems to be a team player and good guy but I don’t think he is worth what he is being paid. I have him tentatively earmarked for cap causality in the near future.
    • Definitely epic tv..... A man who wont cheat for a poke dont want one bad enough.
