We were one dropped pass away from us all saying we have a true QB1, WR1, HC, and future is extremely bright for us looking forward after beating a top 3 team on the road. Just important context to keep no matter how you feel on Bryce, XL, Canales, whoever.

I disagree with a lot of yall and a lot of yall disagree with me, but the future is bright and we are gonna make some noise next season

The future is as bright as a black hole, because there's always going to be a goat every week. Someone's going to blow it because the clutch gene doesn't exist with this franchise. QB, RB, WR, LB, DB, K, doesn't matter. It'll always be someone.

Oh, and the GM sucks ass and couldn't pick a good player if he had the first three rounds to himself.

2022 Lions were the exact same. They didn’t know how to win and were in the middle of building that culture with a young roster. Have some faith, future is bright.

I'd love to share your optimism and either way I respect it, but this team is perpetually the 2007-09 Lions. Not the 2022 ones.

2021 Lions. That was the season they started building momentum late in the year. Similar situation. Finished 3-13-1

In fairness...still probably not.  Our Defense played well, but Philly would have got the ball back with 45 seconds and 3 timeouts, best case tied, or worst case down by one.  Nothing in my mind makes me think we stop Jalen Hurts and that offense.  Thats bread and butter time for them, although we'd prlly feel more like we did after the chiefs game where just gave them too much time.

    • Only thing I really see it doing is possibly making Tepper listen if a different play caller can't run the offense because of limitations. New hire, someone who hasn't been watching Bryce for the past 3 years up close may be able to talk some sense if he sees that he isn't able to get the job done.
