how our season is going to go according to the huddle.

LOL. And now how it's going to go in the eyes of the Kool-aid drinkers...

Giants - BLOW THEM OUT. Ruin their new stadium! Manning sucks!

Bucs - Win easily. They haven't improved ANY. Double Trouble 300 yds each.

Bengals - Palmer throws 3 INTs to Cap'n. Big win.

Saints - Super Bowl was a fluke! We win by double digits.

Bears - We injure Peppers. Our DEs get 4 sacks a piece. We cruise.

49ers - They aren't improving. 2009 was a fluke. We score 50.

Rams - W

Saints - No problem, it's at home. We always beat them here.

Bucs - W

Ravens - Close one but their QB is still very very green. Moore throws 6 TDs.

Browns - Jake throws 5 INTs, Moore to Jarrett...four times for TDs.

Seahawks - Jarrett blows up again with 4 TDs. HUGE win. Double Trouble both surpass 1000 yds today.

Falcons - Falcants SUCK. Worse team in the NFL. We win by 30 easily.

Cardinals - Leinart throws 4 INTs, we roll. They flex the rest of our season to Prime Time.

Steelers - They're in a funk right now...we win by 6 bc we rest starters.

Falcons - Backups prove their worth and prove Doom and Gloomers know nothing about backups. Kenny Moore nabs 16 catches and surpasses 1400 yds on the season. We score 60.

3rd in division and of course, no playoffs and adios to fox and friends.

You base your whole prediction so Fox and Hurney are gone. Good Thinking

The Bengals were the most overrated team last year.

We destroyed the Giants last year.

We always get one win against New Orleans.

The 9ers beating us? In Carolina? NOT!!!!

I see somewhere between 10-6 and 12-4 and a playoff berth and a 3 yr extension.

Then I will throw a going away part for all the Bill Cowher bandwagon fans.

I think everyone is just expecting the rookies to come in and fill the holes adequetley. Obviously the panthers are not going after single player difference makers. So as a team with help mainly coming from the draft I don't see how after the draft guessing would be much different. The panthers are going to be working with a lot of inexperience and untested guys really they will just need a little more luck on their side this season and just hope guys step up.

What rookies are you talking about? I do not expect any rookie (maybe a WR) to start this season.

So you are predicting 6-10 to 10-6? Way to go out on a limb there. That is the probable range for 2/3 of the NFL teams.

Personally, I think a range of 8-8 to 10-6 is more probable. Is that unreasonable?

f**K!!!! i tried to neg rep and positive repped him. someone take him down!!!

WHO?!@

    • I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.
    • Very true on the length but stuff like this is never where we shine. We aren’t a good team at drafting.
    • Homerism aside, the more I see from Dan, the more impressed I am.  His player evaluation instincts. Last year his 2 premier FA signings, Hunt and Lewis COMPLETELY changed the line and I have a feeling his success in choosing blue chip guys will continue.  Look at the panthers’s rep for FA signings in the past. By and large, it’s been guys 1 year past their prime who had an injury and suckered our GM in to a crippling contract. We never get nice things. When was the last time this team signed 2 young blue chip studs  in the same offseason to contracts worthy of their impact? Ever?  Im telling y’all, players respect and trust Morgan.
