I am just making fun of the 40 different "HOW DUMB ARE WE TO HAVE GOTTEN RID OF MAYFIELD AND DARNOLD???" threads over the course of the season where all these doofuses start chimping out after every good Darnold or Mayfield game.

I mean, they're both playing a LOT better away from Carolina. Kinda like the dude that's been divorced multiple times and his exes are all in happy long-term relationships. Like bro, I don't think it's a them problem...

Darnold can not play from behind. Bet he will throw a pick because he can’t help playing hero ball.

Some of the play calling wasn't helping him. A big 58 yd run got them close to the goal line and then they called four unsuccessful pass plays.

The person who was in charge when they were here wasn't exactly Coach of the Year

Not that they played a good team today, but Baker willed them to a win today and made Mike Evans very happy with his record. Darnold has JJ rolling is eyes all night on these over throws

Baker is a gamer. Always has been. Darnold is a very physically talented panicker. Always has been. You have to protect Darnold from himself and the Vikings' OC failed miserably at that tonight. They ran the ball very effectively in the rare occasion they did run it but he just kept putting everything on Darnold's shoulders like he had a 1st ballot HOFer at QB. It was honestly baffling to watch.

I think O'Connell really believes in his turnaround of Darnold.

Yeah, exposed themselves for the first playoff game for no reason in the process. An away game at that. Crazy to think these guys get paid this much and spend 12 hours a day working and can choke on situations so obvious

Maybe tonight will show him that he still has to protect Darnold from Darnold. I mean, damn... when you're running at a 7ypc clip I don't care if you have Joe Montana at QB. RUN the fuging ball!

Kinda like the Falcons today. Honestly they win comfortably if they had simply scrapped every play in their playbook that wasn't a power run to the right. NFL coordinators just outsmart themselves a lot. The first rule is always that if you're doing something and it's working keep doing that thing until they stop it. If you don't then you're your opponent's best weapon. They might still be racking up yards down there in Arthur's Anus just running student body right over and over and over again.

I think with the Falcons the offensive strategy worked, I just don't think they were prepared for us to get a TD on almost every possession. More of a clock management chess match

    • there is one common denominator in the 2003 & 2015 Carolina Panthers teams they both had ELITE top tier Qb play.  it would require a MVP type of season from Bryce Young to have the same type of success that Jake Delhomme had in  2003 & or Cam Newton in 2015 & lead this team to a SuperBowl is this going to happen or is there any reason to believe Bryce Young is capable of playing similar to Jake Delhomme in 2003 or Cam Newton in 2015 ? well no there is no absolutely NO reason whatsoever to believe that this is going to happen in 2026 ..just saying
    • I'd actually like to see Cherelus get a fair shot to win the job in camp. Wallace is decent in drop zone coverage, but he gets abused in the play action game and is often times out of position in the run game. It might just be me, but I swear every time I watch Wallace play, I see multiple plays a game were it looks like he's just trying to be blocked. Watching Cherelus last year he at least looked like he was trying to hit someone on every play. Wallace plays like a LB who doesn't trust what he sees and it makes him passive and cautious versus Cherelus who regardless of if his decision is right or wrong goes at it 100%.
    • Agreed.  Hasn’t happened to me either, but I feel very strongly about it.  That’s not just one of the worst things a woman could do to a man, it’s a power inherent to only women and is one of the worst things a HUMAN being can do to another.  A man can’t “hide” a pregnancy or maternity.  It’s impossible.  And that sucks for anyone that has to go through that. I always got a weird vibe off her and just found her very unlikeable.  Annoying even.  I’ve always been good at reading people and there was just something about her to me that was off-putting, somewhere under the surface.  And here we are…  she is despicable.
