The Panthers Media People SUCK!

so let's see...after all the draft hooplah, and the post draft interviews it's a travesty that these guys are allowed 1 day of some kind of rest to settle in before they start the minicamp mayhem along with more possible media madness on tomorrow?

yeah, the panthers' media sucks big time.

I'm not talking about the Panthers, I'm talking about their media people who post 1 minute videos that are not worth the minute I spend watching them. Mike Craft is awful, I get nothing from his "insider reports" except that Mini-Camp starts this weekend and that Armanti Edwards is going to need a big ass helmet to go over his dreads. I'm not saying I want a 5 minute video everyday but come on you've had a good break this offseason now give the fans something to get them excited. I like seeing the (wow I can't believe I'm in the NFL) looks on these kids faces when they see their name tag on their locker for the first time. You have your own opinion and I have mine, and mine is that Mike Craft is a lazy BUM.

Yeah because reading anything longer than that would make your brain hurt.

in this particular case, yes. it's the equivalent of transcribing an infant's 15 minute screaming episode. wah wah life is not what i want it to be it's obviously everyone's fault but mine. god forbid i do original research on the players drafted. i expect the panther's website to gimme gimme information on every player 3 days after the draft ends, and shovel this information down my throat until i get bored, at which point i will blame them for not being exciting enough. i have no responsibility in keeping myself informed or entertained, etc.

this is true, ive read interviews with players at app that say he is completely different around the media and coaches than he is around teammates. seems very introverted and quick to the point. not much of a talker.

Not alot of flowery words but his answers were good. For example: When asked if he was disappointed about not getting a tryout at quaterback, his answer was something to the affect of: not at all, It worked out, I got drafted, so I wouldn't change a thing. That answer shows some maturity.

"Their" media people work for "them." Mike is an employee of the Panthers.

Actually I have read just about everything I can find about the guys we drafted. Excuse me for wanting to see these kids on their first day as an NFL player.

you are not excused. try harder. and use oxyclean to get rid of those pimples, and don't worry, not having substantial facial hair at your age is totally normal. boys reach maturity at all ages. and no, it won't make you go blind, but take care of the little guy and use lotion or something, geez.

    • We had a QB who could do that and its the last time we went to the Super Bowl and the only time we had an MVP. Once he lost his ability to do that he was out of the league. To filter out insignificant stats I will only look at QBs who have played in 10 or more games this year. There are 28 qualifying QBs. Bryce is 25th in Air Yards per Attempt at 6.4. Only Joe Flacco, Cam Ward, and Dillon Gabriel are worse (6.0, 5.8, 5.1). Trevor Lawrence, Patrick Mahomes, and CJ Stroud are the median QBs at 7.1. Drake Maye and Sam Darnold lead the league at 8.7. Bryce is 18th in the league for passes that travel 30+ yards at 12. The median is Caleb Williams at 15. The league leader is Matthew Stafford with 26. With passes that travel 40+ yards, Bryce is tied with three others at 21st in the league with 3. Only Jacoby Brissett, Cam Ward, Joe Flacco, and Dillon Gabriel are worse. The median is a three-way tie with Drake Maye, Trevor Lawrence, and Baker Mayfield with 6. The league leader is Sam Darnold with 12. Having the ability to complete passes down the field (not YAC) stretches the defense and makes them account for more ground. It keeps players out of the box and keeps formations in nickel or dime, less line backers for your RBs to worry about. Bryce is why we have 2 losses against the Saints. If he had the outright ability to sling the football down field we beat the easily, but he doesn't. So they crowded the box and our 2 starting caliber RBs with our top ~10 Oline couldn't carry the offense to a win on their own. The limitations of the offense fall squarely on Bryce.
    • Bryce’s deep passes are intermediate passes for other strong armed QBs. I will say that Bryce’s accuracy on his deep passes have improved. Before they would just sail out of bounds. Now the WR actually has a fighting chance on the ball.
