Graham Harrell practicing with...

...the Browns.

Harrell was invited to their minicamp last year but they didn't end up offering him a contract. He wound up in the CFL. This year, he's "invited" again, but the Browns have Delhomme, McCoy and Seneca Wallace. Unless they put Wallace at receiver (as the Seahawks did) hard to imagine him making the roster.

(before anyone says it, he's not coming here either)

I saw he worked out for the Packers too about a week or 2 ago. if he can play as well as he did at Texas Tech then he would be a good pick-up for someone like the Colts, Bengals, Jaguars, Redskins, or Vikings...al of which have veteran QB's who can help him learn more...and eventually can take over.

I wonder why it is that Crabtree and Dez Bryant can both go in the first 20 picks but their respective QB's Graham Harrell/Top Senior QB in 2009 and Zac Robinson/actually drafted by the Pats went undrafted or 7th round. I mean does the QB get NO credit or what. I think Graham and Zac have talent and could be developed by someone. Don't see him making the roster over McCoy but you never know.

I've often wondered the same thing.

So the system that allowed the WR's to excel HURTS the QB prospects.

Yeah, that makes sense. Then again i called Pike and McCoy system QB's this year so.... How much of the usage of the term is someone not liking a prospect and an actual gripe? I know i don't particularly care for McCoy or Pike but it had some to do with their GLASS SHOULDERS. The other being they were in schemes that catered to their strengths. Trust me though the spread is becoming more popular. The Pats, Saints, Cowboys and Buffalo all have or are exploring the spread.

Packers signed QB Graham Harrell.

Harrell must have looked good in his recent tryout. The 25-year-old was lights out in Mike Leach's Texas Tech spread offense, but went undrafted in 2009 and didn't make an NFL team until now, with scouting reports saying his accuracy failed to translate. Harrell also has a below-average arm. He'll battle Noah Shepard and Chris Pizzotti to be Green Bay's No. 3 quarterback.

    • JMO, I think it is lame as hell to publicly give up on the team and then crawl back when they win a few games. Like, how can you run a PANTHERS PODCAST and then give up on it during the season?    Yes, you can argue the Panthers prior to Week 3 hadn't done anything to deserve fanfare, but nobody made them run a Panthers Podcast.  They chose to.  So stick with it.  Instead they gave up and did so publicly.  Which is well within their right - but you can't then turn around and bring it back the same season.
    • The crazy thing about football is it’s a team sport. But one position can make or break the game. And one of the best ways in doing that is by not giving the ball away and being able to run at 4-5 yard clips. Throw in a couple passes and next thing you know you’re in the red zone. Playing this way limits possessions to other(more dynamic) QBs too. And if your defense plays well that could equate to between 4 and six series. If you’re running that efficient, you can say, split the offensive production with the run or the pass. So by attempt byce accounted for his half of the yardage and Rico did too. Rico also managed to punch it in at the goal line. And you gotta give it to our oline and they’re running blocking and that’s without TMO! so the truth is, Canales and management figured out how to use Bryce’s strengths to compliment this run game to cover up his weaknesses in a way that is efficient. And our defense showed improvement against pretty formidable opponent the week after andy dalton gave it to buffalo. They are putting winning football on the field more often, and we are slowly becoming better each week. I hope they can keep it up.
    • If only the Eagles collapse. I dont think it will happen though. I hate them as much. Ill root for the Chiefs if they play the Eagles this time around in the Superbowl. I hate those guys.
