Duke Robinson..

Do you think he pulls away with the starting job?

EXTRA POINTS: Giving Robinson a second week of work with the starters at right guard is hardly an accident, as they’d benefit greatly if he could hold down a starting job. Last year’s fifth-round pick is potentially stronger in the run game than the other candidates, and would allow Bernadeau and Schwartz to settle into the super-sub roles once held by Geoff Hangartner and Jeremy Bridges.

ohh hell yeah. He needs to take advantage of this opportunity. If he lives up to his potential, he could end up being one of the best guards the Panthers have ever fielded. If you think our line has been great the past 2 years, just wait for this upcoming season.

I heard he's around 357lbs. right now. If he can grab the starting role, grasp the offense, and pass block just a little.... Otah + Robinson will be a bad ass combo for a long time.

Gross-Wharton-Kalil-Robinson-Otah? Stew and Deangelo might have 1500 yards each.

This. A really good running game is what we need this season, wear the other team down and keep our defense off the field.

    • yeah but whats a drop, because at this point bryce defenders point to anything that hits a part of the receivers body as a drop  like when renfrow had to stop and twist and reach behind himself yesterday are we calling that a drop? because that's a terrible throw. Just because someone can get a paw on it doesn't mean it should have been caught or wasn't a bad throw  and his defenders get so caught up in this that they ignore the simple fact that this kind of production is just what the panthers have gotten from the QB position since he's been here, and that stretches across multiple coaching staffs and wide receiver rooms.  What's the common factor in three years of 12/25, 125 yards, maybe a TD, maybe a lost fumble, maybe an interception, around 20 points scored when things are going well
    • We'll see. I mean, I don't see us winning many games where we barely throw for under 130 yards and 0 TDs. So I'm not worried about that. If we end up with a better than expected record then Bryce will have to put up significantly better numbers.
    • Go watch his call placement to Renfrow on the year.   Or basically every WR that isn’t an eraser like TMac who can just pull of some insanity.   he should have a high completion % given where a mass % of his throw locations are
