He's also already pretty good against the run.  Has some inconsistencies from time to time, but sheds off blocks and moves laterally very well to get to the runner.  Def a fan.  I see a Will McDonald with better burst.  Needs to pack on some meat, but he's a really strong prospect.

Projected top-5 overall preseason.

He's gone under the radar for sure. He could have gone late 1st and ended up on a playoff team but now he's worked his way into top 10 consideration at least.

A few people have had him top-15 overall for a minute like PFF and I think it holds true. His potential on top of a decent floor is sky high. And at a coveted position. Personally think he’s PR #2 after Carter.

I think he is myself. Just depends on how motivated he is to be the best. Right most these nfl guys mock him in the late 1st. It's hard for me to believe that considering the competition in this class.

If I remember right, five months Peace was the early #1 on most boards.

Then he had a ho-hu 2024 and dropped to the 20s.

It's just a bad year for 6-20-30 draft picks, it's basically the same tier.

He looked tall to me as well.

Even before this combine, I had no issue with peace at 8

If it were me I would probably pick Graham if he's there and Pearce Jr. if he's not. I would either go Graham in the 1st and try like he'll to get Jihaad Campbell in the 2nd. Or take Pearce Jr. in the 1st and Deone Walker in the 2nd. That's my dream scenarios right now.

I personally think they need a pass catcher starter, we are at odds over this, but guess what I agree with your wants for the top two picks.

I believe 3 paths-

8- Tmac

57- BPA at DL, edge, LB, SS

OR

8- Best DLmen

57- best pass cather left arroy/golden/4 other TEs that fell

OR

8- BPA(should be defense)

57- BPA(should be defense)

In all of them form 3rd round til the 7th, load up that defense but use either 4th/5th on a RB, then back to defense.

2 picks on Offense(starter level pass catcher and RB0

7 picks on DT, NT, Edge, LB, Safety, CB(if you listen to Dan, I feel Michael Jackson is priced out of coming back).

See I'm just the opposite in that I think the first 3 picks should be defense because that's where the most talented players are. But go bpa the rest of the way because you can find offensive talent in round 4 thru 6. Take a kicker in the 7th if we still have it.

You just gave me the main reason I want to use, ONE, just one pick of the first 2 picks on a pass catcher. Form experts predictions- starting DL could/should be found into the 4th round. Panthers need starter WR and TE, 0.2% that can be filled by mid round pick. Get AJ green(loL) aka Tmac at 8th, then use 2nd, 3rd, and both 4ths on Defense with a focus on DL/edge.

they have three 5th rounders, use one on RB and the other two on defense depth.

us fans and the team will win in the long run!!

I believe he was the main #1 overall back then.

I just rewatched one of the drills in which coach makes you go right left, then run back.....his ankle movement was insane.

    • I was watching the game last night (actually 330am) and they brought up that Aiden Fisher calls out the plays the other team is running.  This of course reminded me of Luke.  I haven't followed Indiana football at all but I wonder that the Huddle thinks of him as a future Panther Linebacker Aiden Fisher's pro prospects are promising, with a strong track record of performance and potential for success in the NFL. His ability to read the game and make plays with precision, combined with his leadership and physicality, make him a valuable asset to any defense. Fisher's development at Indiana and his selection as a first-team All-Big Ten linebacker in 2024 further solidify his status as a top prospect for the 2026 NFL Draft   Thoughts?
    • There is no doubt that winning on the field is the ultimate goal.  But not far behind that is winning off the field / in the board room / at the bank. Beane has been meticulous in betting on Josh Allen being able to put on the cape and taking a band of misfits to the playoffs every year.  That drives tickets, merch, concessions, TV shares, etc.  Which all put money into the owner's pockets.  The coach only controls what's on the field, and even then, it's mostly out of his hands minus time management as he doesn't throw, catch, run or kick for those 60 minutes.  My guess is Beane has made that owner a poo ton of money through contracts (or lack there of), and staying the course financially when it's easy to overspend to get over the hump.  That's why he's still there and McDermott isn't.  My guess is they will hire a non-splash candidate that commands middle of the pack money for a head coach, and Beane will once again point out to ownership how he saved them $4-$6M with this hire, and they still have Superman on their team.  New England has a first place schedule next year, and that's likely good for 2 additional losses, which would give them the same record as the Bills had this year. I knew McDermott was gone if they didn't reach the Superbowl.
    • I heard it was him showing up in NE for his ring of honor ceremony and talking about how great the organization was and the Titans ownership felt a certain way about that. They also fired/mutually parted ways with Mike Mularky after he got them to the playoffs. So making the playoffs as the Titans coach is the kiss of death. They've ran off the last 2 to achieve that lofty goal.
