What do you guys honestly expect of him this season? I know we've been hearing some hype about him in OTAs. There was also some talk of him being a 1st rounder if it wasn't for his injuries. For those that are hopeful, do you really think he'll make that kind of an impact? Why and do you see him as a potential starter?

I know this guy has alot of talent and some Pepperseque qualities to him. However I can't help but think that people are underestimating E. Brown I think he'll really show us something. He's been working his tail off to get stronger with Beason, undersized or not he's got the drive and he wants to make the team proud for taking him.

I know Charles Johnson is a beast just waiting to explode. He's strong as hell and can move inside too. But how much longer do we have to wait? We as fans have been talking this guy up for nearly 2 years, it's now or never for him to be a 8-10 sack guy.

I think he never was able to overcome the injury bug. The homer in me says he was a steal and has a huge upside. He will make an impact immediately.

How often has the 4th DE seen the field during Fox' tenure? He won't make a significant dent in the stats book unless someone higher on the depth chart gets injured.

The guy is a beast. I can see him turning into an 8-10 sack guy, not in his first year but down the road. He still is dealing with lingering injuries and is out of shape.

IMO his motivational issues are mainly due to all the injuries. I mean it's hard to stay focused and motivated when you're dealing with ongoing pain and constantly having setbacks and re-injuries.

I expect him to come out and play some football. I will be severely upset and shocked if he comes out playing soccer.

The 4th DE will probably get more playing time this year with All-Pro Peppers gone. We actually kept 5 DE's last year which was a little odd, I guess because of Meeks.

IF he can stay healthy I think he'll be very good, FO is looking for a younger option for Brayton and Hardy has the size Brown lacks. We should also temper our hopes as most DE's take a season or two to make any real impact.

I really like size/speed/strength combo.

Panthers kept 5 but Taylor was rarely active and CJ missed some time with injuries.

A good year for Hardy will be 5 tackles, 1 sack, and 2 qb pressures. You can save this thread and come back to it after season's end.

I think down the line this year he will do good in situational situations as long as he is healthy. You couldnt ask for a better prospect for what we invested in him. Give him time to get back to full health and I think he will definitely be a future starter.

You guys are such homers...Hardy was the 3rd best dlinemen at Ole f*cking Miss, he's not Peppers part II. With that said, I think he'll be a solid, player but outside of flashes he was never anything special in Oxford. Jerrell Powe and Kentrell Lockett are/were the beasts of that line.
