Eating at a Panther game can KILL you...

I knew a woman who did restaurant inspections. She said the same thing as SFGF ... if the bathroom's dirty, then the kitchen is dirty. It's a sign of how they value (or don't) sanitary conditions.

;) you are correct Sir. If they are willing to leave there restrooms a mess imagine what they do out of the public eye.

Is it not true that a lot of vendors working food stands at games are charitable organizations and not experienced food servers? I worked a Hornets game years ago with my girlfriend for some benefit she was associated with. I don't recall being briefed on food sanitation.

Now I know just about everything on the subject now.

Don't know about ALL of them, but all the concessions stands, vendors, etc., I have patronized at the stadium had volunteers from charitable organizations working them.

The key thing is that having outdoor contact, such as vendor food outside of the kitchen or dining area will kill you every time. Temperature is the key. BTW...when Aquafina goes up to $4.5, as it likely will, be prepared to start having people droppin' bags down from the 1st tier! It's an old Phillies trick I learned from my uncles.

I wish it was that way everywhere. Being in the restaurant business I know what kind of things can go on and it makes you really think before you eat at a place. I always go to the bathroom and check it first. If its not clean then its time to go...

Too bad this theory wouldn't work at a Panthers game. You wait in that long line to inspect a urinal, you'll get yourself pissed on.

Well what we were saying is that you can see everything going on at the stadium but you cant at a restaurant. So no need to get pissed off or on there. ;)

Oh yeah, I got ya, just a lame attempt at urinal humor. Normally there is nothing funny about a urinal, except trying to explain what they are to my five year old daughter when I have to take her to the men's room, but I digress. You're spot on tho man. :D

The majority of these kinds of violations happen at almost all restaurants. The difference is that most restaurants have the luxury of noticing when some stranger is wandering around their kitchen, so certain infractions, such as eating on the line or having your drink without a lid on, can be hidden for the time. Vendors at major venues don't have such luxury, an inspector can stand anywhere near the counter amongst hundreds of patrons and see almost everything going on inside the booth.

Drinking drinks while preparing food

Eating out of basket, pans and bowls ECT...

That happens in most peoples houses every day

How sanitary is Thanksgiving dinners at home when the food sits out all day for 2nd and thirds ?
