Have the contract details been released??

I think we have to wait until tomorrow for exact details.

Or maybe not:

Update on the Patrick Jones II deal with the #Panthers:

Base value is $15 million over two years, per league source.

Previously reported, as others, incentives can bring it up to $20 million.

It sorta looks like the same contract DJ Wonnum, who I wish they would extend... Viking have been killing it find edges the last few years, all over the draft..

I mean, when they drafted Danielle Hunter out of LSU, he had 4 career sacks.  In the NFL, he is averaging 11 sacks a year for nearly a decade.  How???

I think he was a 3rd rounder too, just mopping up the NFL in finding edge studs. Every single team is after them and looking the earth for them, the Vikings are able to find them. Props to the scouts.

  • The Panthers signed EDGE Patrick Jones to a two-year deal worth $15 million, with $10.25 million guaranteed, including a $7.23 million signing bonus. His salaries are $1.17 million (guaranteed) and $6.4 million ($1.75 million guaranteed). He will receive a $100,000 annual workout bonus, which is fully guaranteed in 2025, and is eligible for up to $2 million annually in playtime, sacks, and club improvement incentives. (Wilson)

    • I agree with OP notion, QBs always get credited for game winning drives even if they do minimal. Just last night Caleb got credited for a GE drive when they basically ran the ball the whole drive and only had to go 36 yards.   And there are drives where Bryce could of had a game winning drive if not for a Legette drop vs Philly or a Chubba fumble vs Tampa
    • You are actually, genuinely comparing Bryce to Jimmy fuging Pickles? Jimmy accounted for 3 touchdowns in his 10 starts in 2010. In Bryce’s 10 games post benching last year, he accounted for 20 touchdowns. Jimmy threw three touchdowns in 2010. Three. Bryce has thrown 10 touchdowns through 6 games. He is currently on track to throw for 3300 yards, 28 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. Wtf are we even talking about anymore. I mean seriously
    • Tepper? The guy that directs the coaches towards goals that he set for them… that guy. He is the one.    I don’t think he ever was going to be expelled from class, they had him come in for garbage time maybe the 2nd week he was benched.  I will say this. People said he wasn’t under pressure the last part of the year when he did better, but he was fighting for his career and that’s pressure. And he saved his career too. I don’t reject him for those kinds of things I reject him for the physical things. I have always brought it down to he has slim margin for error and has to be perfect. People with the tool set have a little fatter margin for error. Why make it harder on yourself? Got nothing to do with hating him.  I am no statistician but game that margin thing out a lot and see how that works.
