Rookie starters

By the end of the year, which rookies will have starting roles on the Carolina roster, not including ST positions?

My expectations is that Hardy and Lafell may be the only two rookies to have guaranteed starting spots because of their talent, not injuries to the starters in front of them.

I think Norwood will be a significant contributor on deense though...

Hope against hope that AE can be an offensive threat but think he is a project at this point.

As much as hardy has been doing well during camp..I haven't heard the coaches even looking at him with the 1's.

Lefall I can see starting week 1.

Hardy I can see being part of the rotation. Although I doubt he end up starting unless injury thrusts him there.

LaFell if I was a betting man would be my first pick for rookie starter. Hardy, maybe not week 1 or 2, but at some point this season.

I could see Norwood getting a start or two this season.

Tough call, as with everyone else, I agree that Lafell and Hardy will be on the field the most. But DE will be done by committee, so "starting" kinda loses it meaning. If you're splitting time 50-50 with someone, I don't think you should be considered the starter just because you were on the field for the first series.

I really don't see Brown, Brayton, or Johnson sitting on the bench in favor of Hardy. I see it being a four man rotation depending on the situation. And we all know Fox has a tendency to stick with the vets, so I bet more often than not, Brayton and Johnson will be out there for the first defensive series of the game.

Appears LaFell is the only starter of the bunch. Unless Matt gets hurt, Clausen stays on bench. I think Hardy and Norwood will make noise, but only in passing downs and ST so no starting.
