I really don't see Fox starting Hardy this year. He has Brayton, Johnson, and Brown ahead of him right now (Eric Moore too if you go by the depth chart on panthers.com). I say LaFell has the best chance to start this year out of all the rookies (barring no injuries of course).

LaFell is the only player I see with a chance of winning the job outright. Pugh could start some games if one of the safties gets hurt, god forbid that doesn't happen. Same thing for Hardy or Norwood but idealy I see them as rotational players.

Hardy will definitely earn a starting spot later on in the season. LaFell will probably be the number 2 receiver by week 3.

Hardy won't start if everyone stays healthy but will be in the rotation. He will have a good year. If we have any injuries at DE, he might start a few games. LaFell will start a few games this year as he shows what he can do.

Norwood will come in on passing downs and may play in some zone packages.

The other guy who might play quite a bit is Pugh, first on special teams then on dime and nickel coverages.

Neither Robinson or Connor are rookies. And Connor has been on the team for two seasons and played in 19 games. He played in every single game last season. Has 34 tackles in his career.
