Goodson, Sutton, & Jackson

I don't think you got what I was saying. On paper, it would be 3 RBs, 2 Fbs, and an FB on the PS. Yeah, four of them are Running Backs, but I'm coming from the perspective of simply filling our roster. So again, is Goodson, Jackson, or Sutton gone if you see one having to go?

I'm very optimistic that D-Will will sign a new contract with us. We will have plenty of cap room and he has made it clear that he wants to be in Carolina and has no problem splitting carries with Stewart. We are so run-oriented, I doubt we will be reluctant to pay Williams and Kalil what they deserve.

last season we kept fiametta and hoover, stew, d-will, goodson & sutton.

this is a run first, run second team. the o-line and tailbacks are essential to the system. we need 2-3 healthy RB's dressed per game

I am betting that if any of our tailbacks get put on the practice squad, they'll be picked up quickly. I dont know about you guys but Goodson, Sutton, Jackson, Fiammetta have all shown flashes of what they can do. I think someone is going to end up on IR for a bruised toenail.

Almost my exact thoughts. There's absolutely no way we let any of our run support players walk right out the door. Double Trouble are what run this team, J-Stew and DW will retire as Panthers. Along with Beason. (There's really no point in me mentioning Beason here, I just felt like typing his name, cause he's a beast and I can't wait to see him pwn someone tomorrow.) But yeah, that's why they got rid of so many veterans this past offseason... to take the money they were gonna pay them, and give that money to their core players such as DW and Kalil.

Stewart has more problems with injury than DWill, regardless of age.

Sutton is too small to be a FB. I don't care how he did in that one game. He's like 215 pounds sopping wet. So far Goodson has shown us nothing and I see no point in letting him continue on if he doesn't step it up. Sutton #3, Goodson to PS, Jackson to PS as well if Fiametta proves he's Hooverlike. Keep him on if Tony doesn't show promise.

I really like Sutton though. He kicked some booty in a pre-season Madden game for me haha.

I said "if he doesn't step it up". So yeah, he's got four games to prove he's worth a damn. I just don't see how a 215 pound dude would play an entire year at FB (Sutton). Fiametta is like 265. You need BEEF to play the position. Yes, we all saw Sutton fill in for a game...but I just don't see it. Nor do I think he wants to play FB. KR and fill-in RB would be best for him.
