no respect . . .

Don't forget the lines are set based on what the public is betting, so the Jets' high visibility is more than likely the reason for that.....If everyone put their money on the Panthers following that line, for example, the line would shift in favor of the Panthers until the bets even out.

these are ESPN's lines... they don't change... They're strictly based on the match-up - not betting, etc.

This site has us as favorites... and changes based on betting, etc.

espn is teh ghey

ummm when have we EVER gotten respect from espn or the league in general? NEVER. our fairweather fans make us look bad and so do the "wine and cheese" crowd. even if we went to the superbowl this year, win or lose, we STILL wouldnt get any respect.

idk if u watched the pregame for the ravens, but keyshawn...a guy who effin played here...said something about us struggling at qb and passing game (which is legit), and then had the audacity to say, and yeah they have "2 pretty good running backs" are u fn kidding me. i was yelling at the tv. PRETTY GOOD KEYSHAWN?!! u jackass. how about 2 of the best rbs in the entire league. how about the BEST running tandem the nfl has seen in a while. no respect i tell ya. noooo respect.

    • It’s going to get wild after this Sunday.  I would assume Dave has a really smart plan.   Sorta like the AZ plan last year.    After a big turnover heavy  bad game Bryce normally reels it in.  Bryce will have one of his standard 60% for 200 days and the Bryce defenders will use that as a “ I told you he is good” games.
    • Bryce is a really smart kid and I'm sure he knows all the answers to the test but he hasn't been able to overcome his lack of physical tools and other DC's know this and play him accordingly. I think Bryce has good processing but when the correct read is the WR 30 to 40 yards down field and you have a defensive lineman coming at you what can he really do? He just doesn't have the arm to effectively and consistently hurt the defense and I think that's what's gonna do him in.  Pime example look at the INT versus Dallas last year when Thelien was wide open down the seam and Bryce threw it from a clean pocket and the ball was way short. Dc's watched that and knew that Bryce can't throw the ball deep.
    • I'd give Bryce until the trade deadline to prove he's the answer and if he's not I'm dumping him for whatever pick we can get and I'm riding with Dalton the rest of the way.  2 and a half years is enough time to determine if he can be the QB going forward so for Bryce he needs to come out over the next couple of weeks and show that. The other players in the locker room don't wanna waste another year of their careers waiting to see if you'll ever figure it out.  If you took a poll of the players in the locker room I'm sure they'd rather lose with a respected veteran Dalton who at least gives them some creditability versus losing with Bryce who the entire media will say was let down by his supporting cast when in reality it's Bryce's physical limitations that are holding this team back.
