Why didn't more ever audible a running play?

Especially in the red zone... why didn't he audible to a run or NOT audible to a pass in a lot of situations when they weren't stacking the box.

They didn't seem to do that much in the preseason but I figured they just didn't want to show their hand.

He could have been audibiling it just didn't look like it I guess.

I seem to recall a game last year where Moore said he was checking out of passing plays to running plays and he felt like that was a mistake, so maybe he went into this game telling himself that he wouldn't do that?

I guess because Moore was the QB??? This is not to bash him, but he's definitely not famous for reading a defense and audibling at the line of scrimmage.

.....I think....last year he was still Jakes shadow, so to speak, he really had nothing to lose. This year it's going to take him a game or two to play his own game when it's his team.
