I honestly want to see Otah in there on the O-line with Moore first before I call for Clausen. I say if things aren't going good by the bye week, put Clausen in there and see how he does and prepare him for the next year and beyond.

I think the difference is winning games at the end of a season when only the other team has something on the line is a lot easier to win games in the beginning and middle of the season when both teams are playing for something. Now, sure some QB's can translate that to a starting role when a new season starts but it is obvious Moore has not been able to.

How much worse can Clausen be than Moore? If anything, not much if not better. It just sucks we were saying the same thing last season when it was Jake stinking up the place. I was never really on the Moore bandwagon but was hoping he could be a good QB. I am sure glad they drafted Clausen. At least we have something to hope for.

Yeah, Clausen needs to be in there getting the reps and the experience. It really bothers me that he overthrew Goodson when he was standing 7 yards away from him, but I'd like to see what he can do as a starter.

At this point, I say just start Clausen now to get him some experience and to see what we have with him. We're obviously not going to compete so we might as well evaluate the talent we have. Plus, we only have a year invested Moore.

Moore looked like a deer in headlights. While the first play Clauson had he throw it away but not before scanning the entire field.

On the other hand Moore had plenty of time in the pocket and had open WRs but just couldn't find them with his vision, or would over through wide open receivers.... It was very frustrating. And I believe if Clauson would have started today it's very possible we would have had a win.

Yea, Moore needs to be pulled. But considering Hurney & Fox's record regarding QBs brought in, I'm not sure JC would be successful either.

That and our OL sucks and WRs not named Smith sucks, it will be hard for anyone to be successful.

Not saying Moore has earned the right to stay, mind you. Just really worried that starting Clausen too early could mess him up, especially under current conditions.

Weird day in the NFL today. Vince Young, Jason Campbell, Derek Anderson, and Matt Moore all benched for performance. I can't remember that ever happening in one week before. Looks like QBs are getting put on a shorter leash when so much is riding on their shoulders.
