Bengals not giving Clausen much thought

well, they will have chances, there will be plays they put Joseph on him one on one. Granted, they will tee off on Clausen when they do it.

doesn't matter what the stats show, no team has 2 better corners working together imo. J. Joseph out of Rock Hill is one of the most underrated guys in the league right now.

If they come with the blitz then it is a good thing that Clausen is pretty elusive in the pocket. He had plenty of practice at Notre Dame.

I don't. I want to see a turnover free game. Clausen's deep stuff ain't his strength and those CBs in Cincy are nasty.

just because you said that, Jeff Davidson is gonna call a deep bomb to Smith on Clausen's first throw, and it'll be tipped in the air like five times just to make you hold your breath/piss your pants/poo yourself before it falls into the hands of a Bengals defender. this is how we play Carolina ball... end of story.

Let's just hope Clausen can make them pay for putting 8/9 in the box or it's gonna be a long day...

I'm trying to be as negative as possible, so that perhaps things will go the other way... with that being said...

Clausen will throw 6 interceptions on Sunday, while fumbling it twice as much. And the panthers will finish with only 3 points on the board and only 30 rushing yards. The Bengals are gonna pwn!!!! Palmer is gonna throw like 10 touchdowns, and Benson is gonna run it in for like 15 touchdowns. It's gonna be a nightmare to forget!!!!

Davidson never does what I want. I actually expect a deep bomb to LaFell as more likely early. The same approach he used with Moose all of last year.

I predict a big win from the Bengals,but Clausen won't embarrass us,he'll do alright w/what limited resources he has to work w/!Smitty will get a few passes and do ok in fantasy land,maybe even a TD,Clausen will throw 2 INT from either a tip or our Wr not catching them.Our Oline will still be shakey and our run game will get stuffed!Our D will have continued problems from being on the field too long!bengals win 24-10!

Michigan Highlights should scare them!

J/k... no there really isn't any reason to be scared of Clausen {yet}

However, this should scare them some:

You put Smith on an island, and even David Carr becomes a threat.

I hope Jimmy doesn't break Smitty's arm with that fist bump...

:D
