I'll root for the guy and probably become a mildly interested fan for whatever team he goes to, just like I would if it was Delhomme or Smitty or Williams. It sucks that he's leaving but he's a good guy and a great athlete. He's always been a class act and I won't be too bitter about him leaving (hello first round pick).

Screw 'em. If he leaves I dont care how Peppers does. Something about that fact that I feel like he did not give 100% or do what was necessary to be "elite" as a Panther kind of pisses me off. You and we can blame the scemes all he/we want but bottom line is when the big games came around Peppers never took one over and dominated. How much scheme does a great DE need to beat the Oline and perform consistently. What Pep needs is to be the support guy for other great lineman. For all the talk about being double teamed and chipped is just not true. It hasnt been for at least 2 1/2 season's now. Sure he is doubled at times, etc but not all the time like people think. He is single blocked alot, and does nothing with it. I like Peppers, I and my son were his jersey to all the games - but for all the spectacular plays he is more hype than anything else.

I would have rooted for Peppers, but my opinion changed about him over the past two years. He kinda seemed more whiny and even though he's still a team player, he made too many excuses and seemed a little arrogant.
