Who will be our WR's next game?

I am guessing right now Gettis will fill in for Smith, Lafell will be the number 2, and I have no idea who will play the slot. Do you think we will play Jarrett or maybe activate Armanti? Maybe try Goodson in the slot only thing is I don't know the severity of his injury. I don't want to see us Running a TE as a WR because it just makes our team look we suck. I know we will not sign anyone unless they figure out smith will be out longer than expected. So based on who is on our team, Who will Jimmy be throwing to on Sunday.

BTW, Our WR depth is starting to scare me, anyone else?

Goodson is fine I believe.

If Smith is out then we will either see only three active receivers (one of which is Jarrett) or Edwards will finally get activated.

I really hope it isn't the former option as having Jarrett as our third and last receiver doesn't inspire much hope for the passing game.

It occured to me earlier...

Maybe Smith getting hurt is a good thing. The Bears won't know how to game plan for us. If they double cover anyone, Clausen could hit paydirt on a medium strike.

If he's not sacked in 3 seconds that is... our O-line is gonna have their hands full between Peppers and Urlacher.

    • I only wonder about the West Coast team playing on tne East Coast at 1pm factor and historically that has been worth a lot to the home teams. And maybe playing down to the competition that happens sometimes. And the crazy up down up down pattern we have been in this season.  I don’t bet on these things though.
    • I think the racist stuff is barking up the wrong tree with Tepper. He is all woke and stuff. Not that liberal white people can’t be racists they are in their way pretty racist.  Or can be,  I for sure agree about the yes man aspect and particularly apply that to Wilks.  I didn’t understand the Rhule hiring at all. Did not want. But down the line with Wilks, zi personally wanted him, and personally did not see the racism being a factor in the Reich hiring as much as the fixation with offensive minded play callers and copying that trendy model.  I am having a hard time calling to mind any Black coaches who were out there with the big offensive rep. At one time Byron Leftwich was a hot name who I liked. Don’t remember what happened there but he faded. Bienemy but I never believed in him much, personally.  I think Tepper basically excluded defensive guys and went for the top rated play caller OC types. And couldn’t get Ben Johnson and ended up settling with Reich.  Who ended up NOT being a yes man at all.
    • Someone like Steve Smith wouldn't have last half a season under Tepper.
