You know what. As much as i'll get flamed for it, It would probably be in the best interest of this franchise to trade him away for picks (over the long term)

Smith is still a great reciever and would garner us a good pick. If there were to be a lock-out next year, what a waste of a year it would be to someone like Smith who is getting older.
