What we're seeing right now...

This is also the first time the "superbowl-generation" of Panthers fans have seen the team this low.

I would guess a pretty good percentage of Panthers fans really got on board during the superbowl run and ever since the Panthers have patched up the roster around the superbowl core of players and managed to stay at least mediocre with a few playoff appearences sprinkled in.

Call it what you want, but this is rebuilding and it's the first time the Panthers have gone through this after tasting some real success. Yes the 96 team played for the NFC championship but we were an expansion team and anything we did was icing on the cake. Now that we've been a legitimate contender a couple of times, it's hard to swallow this rebuild, but it's a necessary evil.

Hang in there Panthers nation, we're sowing the seeds for many years of success to come.

he has you on ignore. you might as well talk to a wall.

well, some people act like kids when others have a different opinion. Pretty sure this board is meant for people to give opinions......so really, whether he has me on ignore or not, it is like talking to a wall either way

Agreed the potential I see in some of these players for the long run is enough to keep my head up.

I see what you did there.

He is smarter than most.

Ive said a couple times as a fan, maybe try to enjoy watching our young team learn. Kinda like a child developing, they will make mistakes and go thru some rough patches, but when your child grows and graduates, it can be a great feeling(not that I even have any kids). Stick by the team, we can't win every year, and just appreciate the development b/c we will be good again very soon, and we will appreciate now then.

there was a thread a while back about putting a bad season into perspective...how it could end up being fun in the right frame of mine.

can't even remember who started it. fiz, smootsdaddy, raging bull...i don't know.

not sure why i mentioned it.

It should be mentioned that everyone has been asking for this in some fashion for awhile.

Wanting players cut and coaches fired.

Well it has all come true, and we are reseting the squad.

Be careful what you wish for! :)

    • I don't think it's a homer though when I really feel this team can beat anyone.  The points that can be scored in bunches when the big three are on has high potential.  Moose has effort for days and IMO is the heart of the team.  And didn't see Miles becoming the team "vet" in the starting lineup just roleplaying lol.   We have to limit the turnovers though (Brandon Miller I'm looking at you bud, you are a bad ball handler) and some little things.   Colby off the bench is a cheat code and him and Kaulk have a nice little game going with the picks.    Sion playing every game and just getting better each game.  He has grit.  Grant and Green also grit.  We need replace Tillman with PJ Hall though.  Tillman looks like someone that shouldn't be on an NBA court, or at least with this team, he's just too slow for this tempo.   Even McNeely looked decent tonight and can drive.   If Kaulk and Moose could even be like 30% 3pt shooters man....
    • 1.) LaMelo 2.) Kon 3.} Miller 4.. Giannis 5.) Moose   1.) Coby 2.) ? 3.) Sion 4.) Miles Bridges 5.) Kalk That squad would win multiple chips.
