I'll be the first one to admit I'm pissed.

I'm pissed at Jerry Richardson for low-balling Free Agency two years in a row, and throwing away this season to lead the CBA charge. I'm pissed at Marty Hurney for having a lackluster draft this year. I'm pissed at John Fox for not being able to adjust his plans to compensate for the poor hand he's been dealt, and for years of predictable play. I'm pissed at the assistant coaches for not being tougher and motivating the players to be tougher. I'm pissed at the players for not bringing their 100% game on the field. I'm even pissed at the Sir Purr because... well... because.

But despite all that... despite the fact that we are tied for being the laughing stock of the NFL... despite the fact that it will probably be years before we see a playoff run again...

THE PANTHERS ARE MY TEAM, AND I'LL SUPPORT THEM NO MATTER WHAT!!!

If you are here because you are a fan, you should to. Why?

Because this isn't really about product quality. It isn't really about making the play-offs or having the division lead. It isn't about having multiple pro-bowlers or being able to talk trash.

It's about having an NFL team in the Carolina's and showing some pride in the face of adversity.

This dark time will pass. We've been in this valley before. We've had the right to put bags on our heads. We've been almost to the lowest depths of the NFL in less than a decade.

And what happened? Within no time we were almost to it's highest peaks.

As long as we support this team, we'll have that team to support.

So if you get a chance to go to some games this year, GO! Go tailgate if you can. Have some football parties like you would have if we were 5-0.

Support your Panthers!

It will only get better from here.

I'll still root for the Panthers. Since 2002 I have been to at least one Panthers game every season except '07. With recent ticket price increases and the performance of the team on the field...I will abstain from attending a game this year - and that directly correlates to what Richardson has done with the team.

Panthers fan yes. Starting to sway from being a fan of the owner. Let's see how he attempts to turn the team around before passing the final judgement and burning the stadium down.

In spirit, I support the Panthers. Always. But I am not traveling to Charlotte to attend any games this year, spend any money on concessions, buy any jerseys or anything new from the organization. It's real simple. Jerry is a businessman and can choose to run his business how he pleases. I am the customer. Just like any other product or service, if I am displeased with the quality of said product or service I will spend my money on something else. Ergo, I will not be spending any money on this crappy product. It's not some type of protest, it's just the free market at work. yee haw.

Exactly as it should be ... making your choice, as a customer.
