If Moore Maintains or Exceeds His Performance from Today for the Rest of the Season..

What do we do at QB for next season? Taking into account Moore's performance in the first two starts of the season and Clausen's as well. What is our plan? Or what is yours?

I feel like Moore is going to be gone no matter what unless he can do something SPECTACULAR especially with a new coach coming in.

Now after he got that one flub out of the way and pulled out the win with an overall awesome performance and a great throw for the 2nd TD... The question stands.

Sign him for at least 2 years. See how he does as a starter again, but let him ahve more than two games next year with the new coach.

Keep Clausen.

Likely drop Pike and get a decent veteran to back them up, or draft some super awesome QB prospect if the coach is high on them (in which case Clausen's days are numbered here)

Man, it's a hard call... I don't want to give up on Clausen yet, so I do want to keep him around as the backup at the least, and I really love Pike's potential, so I don't want to let him go either.

Hopefully MM won't need another benching to keep himself efficient and effective as a starter.

Don't think hes going to be here but who knows kinda hard when he struggled early and had one very good game.

I don't know if Moore can be the franchise guy with the way he plays. If he's going to cave everytime we truly need it then he needs to go.

Clausen needs more time to learn the playbook and get settled. Putting him out there with all of these new WRs and rookies with no running game is just plain cruel. You need a vet QB to make that work. If we had Clausen in today we would have lost.

Whoever starts can we get these guys a running game? The line is playing terrible. Stewart can't make something out of nothing and Williams can't pull a miracle out of his bum everytime.

Agreed on the run game, it's horrid. Hopefully Otah will make a difference, otherwise, every game will be a struggle.

I'm just thinking from what we've seen this year, taking the bad games of both QBs into account, I just don't see how we could let Moore walk not knowing what we have in Clausen yet.

Let him play the rest of the season. See how he does next season bring in a free agent veteran for competition and to come in if he does stink it up. Clausen let the guy watch and learn. Give him a chance to win the job next year but still need a 3rd viable QB.

If Moore plays well, I can see him getting a 1 or 2 year type contract but not anything crazy $$ wise. With this, we either have a good QB in Moore or someone who has to be better than him leading us. So keeping him makes sense regardless if we draft another QB with a new coach.

as it's always been.. hopefully Moore proves to be an above average QB and we allow Clausen 2-3 years to grow into the position..
