While I'm extremely doubtful it will happen, mathematically he's right. And I'm VERY pleased that he's showing this attitude. We should get a few more wins out of them this season.

Our playcalling and run game is still to horrible for us to make it. Now show me some more formations and get our run game going and I'm on that bandwagon.

Look at it this way...as much grief as John Fox gets on this board, his teams have historically finished strong after slow starts and they always finish at or right below .500. So the odds of this team going on a run are pretty darn good. It may not be enough, but anything is possible in the NFL.

9-7 could possibly be good enough.

as I stated in another thread........ the next 3 weeks will make or break us. We play 3 NFC teams and 2 division games in those. If we don't win these we'll be 1-7 in the NFC and 0-4 in the Div......... in other words we'll be dead. If we win those 3 we'll be 4-5 overall, 4-4 in NFC and 2-1 in division...... and still on life support.

We will more realistically end up 7-9. Not good enough for the playoffs but not bad enough for a top pick.
