Moss waived. Go get him Hurney

18 pages, that's crazy. We all know it just isn't happening. We don't sign people of this magnitude!

If he becomes an unrestricted free agent, signing Moss won't be our choice. It would be up to him to choose where he goes; and it won't be here because he will want a team that has a good QB and some consistency at the position. The Panthers are about last on that list.

Yeah, Chilly is gonna be out soon IMO. Remember when Favre reportedly said Chilly has no idea what he's doing, and an idiot when it comes to offense... Well, if Favre and Moss are boys and think similarly, we know Moss won't keep his mouth shut.

Favre and Moss together, a lot of those young guys in that locker room look up to them, so if they're frustrated with Childress and don't believe in him, they may be causing a coup in the locker room.

The agent for Randy Moss said the receiver's separation from the Minnesota Vikings is all but official after coach Brad Childress informed the team on Monday that it would waive the Pro Bowler.

The Vikings had not yet announced a move regarding Moss. But agent Joel Segal told the AP that the lack of news on Moss' release was "merely a technical thing" despite the team not officially filing the paperwork with the NFL. Segal told the AP he had been in touch with the Vikings.

So he will be officially waived tomorrow

The Panthers are a rolling stone.

Clever

An update: Just spoke to former Rams and Panthers exec and he does not expect CAR to put a claim in for Moss. STL is a strong possibility

Gotta be Tony Softli.

So if he does end up back at the Pats, they basically got an extra 3rd round pick from Minny and possibly getting back they guy they traded to get it. Brilliant

Don't see any chance of that (see below).

Moss has to clear waivers based upon the team's records, worst records get the first shot. Because of that, I can't see the Patriots, Jets, or Steelers having any chance at getting him.

Agreed.
