Yes. I think about it all the time.

I think about how the years up until I was, say, 18, seemed like an eternity. From 18 to my current age of 28, however, seems like it went by all too quickly.

I think about dying a lot, too, and about the brevity of life. I think I'm having a mid- midlife crisis.

The strangest thing to me as far as getting older, is that the days seem longer than the weeks.

Like today seems to be dragging along, barely getting to 5. But it seems that it was just kickoff weekend. Sucks.

You're just used to life and are set in a routine. Ever wonder why when you were a kid a few months seemed like an eternity? It was because everything was new. Now you wake up to the same alarm, poo/shower/shave the same way, drive the same way to work, do the same things at work, come home and do the same things. If you changed it up everyday life would slow down.

I bought a Miata a couple years ago, but it's not running right now and I may sell it with a kid on the way. But I did just have a dream about getting a motorcycle.

If you changed it up everyday life would slow down.

Man, you're not kidding. I think that's the problem. Life's become too routine and, as happy as I am just to have a job, I would rather be doing something I'm more passionate about. That's part of the problem too, though -- I'm 28 and don't even know what I'd really enjoy doing.
