I think this is a horrible, horrible choice.

December 26, 1919 - The Red Sox Sell Babe Ruth to the Yankees. "What could go wrong??"

June 22, 1941 - Germany invades Russia. "We're on a roll, seems like a good decision."

January 8, 2000 - Wade Phillips starts Rob Johnson over Doug Flutie in the Music City Miracle Game. "Rob gives us the best chance to win".

November 4, 2010 - Zod appoints Saltman as new mod. "Give the people what they want".

This reminds me so much of that Dave Chappelle skit.

      Some people will shift the goal posts but he does still have to consistently help the team win, eventually. Not only help but be the reason. That's what franchise QB's do.

      One of the Carolina Panthers' newest defenders thinks their pass rush can go from worst to first. ESPN's David Newton recently chatted with outside linebacker Pat Jones II, who signed with the Panthers as a free agent earlier this offseason. Jones comes over from an awfully impressive Minnesota Vikings defense—one that ranked first in takeaways (33), fourth in sacks (49) and second in QB pressure rate (44.4 percent) this past season. And despite a historically-bad campaign by Carolina's defense in 2024, the 26-year-old seems to believe his new unit can be similar—or even better—than his last. "I definitely think we could do something similar, if not better," Jones said, via Newton. "I've seen it before, so I know what it looks like.       5 total TDs against the Falcons was pretty good efficiency and he showed that ability to go off scripts and get 2 of those TDs rushing.  How many times did he deliver big time throws against pressure.  I agree we need to see this offense operate at high efficiency which starts with Bryce. When he does I hope the goals posts won’t shift to some other stat like QB sneaks lol
