Morgan Fogarty and Jerry Richardson sit down interview

Apparently after being criticized on the local TV show fox news edge in Charlotte Jerry Richardson agreed to sit down with Morgan Fogarty for a off the record interview. What do you guys think about this? Do you think after the way this season has gone Jerry is starting to realize we as fans need and deserve some answers, and their may be more to come soon? Maybe Morgan at a later time will be allowed to run the interview who knows? Thoughts guys?

An off-the-record interview with a nobody local sportscaster who's guaranteed to lob softball and unoriginal questions... off the record.

Super. Another dose of useless (and off the record useless at that) lip service from the Big Cat

So to recap:

1. JR invites Morgan (a hot chick) to an "off the record" meeting in his office and does not invite her douchebag friend "Brotha Fred" (who was being just as critical of the Panthers).

2. During this meeting, someone snaps a picture that looks like JR trying to force Morgan to give him a BJ.

3. FOX (not Fox) titles this thing the "Big Cat Call".

This just keeps getting funnier.

I wouldn't exactly call it a scoop, since she had nothing she could report. She had a nice conversation, period.

And a few autographed footballs. And a few pics made with Big Cat, one of which will go down in message board infamy. No pun intended.

I'm still trippin about Brotha' Fred lol. They actually put that sh*t on the screen, too. Honestly, I was expecting it to be a black dude lol. That Morgan gal is okay. Looks like she has a nice body, though

I thought it was gonna be a black dude too for the longest time b.c I dont watch the show, then I was at Hefs Bar one night like 3 years ago and someone pointed him out to me and I was like THAT? is "Brotha Fred"? and then just started laughing out loud.

This is worse than just not talking at all. What the hell is the point?

Agreed. I mean, I could do the same thing and report that I had a conversation with JR and it was all "off the record". Completely pointless IMO. Im sure when they actually "had" the conversation too, she didn't ask him any legitimately relevant questions about the current state of our team or what he sees happening in the future.

Probably just asked him a couple of dumb ass questions about nothing relevant, went down on him, took some pics, got some autographed footballs and then dipped out.

Sounds like a good interview to me.

Gantt basically goes down on JR every day, why not Morgan?

    • Miller being less raw and more pro ready makes sense of why they picked him. With us having a capable starter in Walker the lower floor higher ceiling player makes sense for us as well. I agree with that.
    • I'm from Michigan and have had this discussion with my Lions friends, and they all agree with me, they were never going to take Freeling over Miller.  As, yes, you are correct, they could have left Sewell at RT and taken Freeling, but they are in a SB contention window right now. An OL with Freeling at LT and Sewell at RT is not as strong as Sewell at LT and Miller at RT would be for this upcoming season and likely at least next year as well. 5 years it could be looked back upon as a long term "mistake" to take Miller over Freeling, but for a franchise like the Lions, you can't worry about the long term when you have current SB aspirations.  It's all about maximizing their current SB window over the next 1-3 years. And it's not about style, it's about day 1 readiness, and a lot of "experts" aren't even sure if Freeling is ready to play Week 1 yet at the position he's used to, let alone switching to a side he hasn't played before, but a career starting RT is going to be more than ready to fill that role for them Week 1. I'm 100% convinced that if our draft positioning was swapped, we'd have still taken Freeling, they'd have still taken Miller, and both teams would have got the OT that they preferred due to what each team needs right now and what their current realistic aspirations are for the 2026 season. We're in a position where we can let our drafted OT sit and learn for a bit, they needed a week 1 starter, for me that's where this discussion becomes very easy to understand why each team took the player they did.
