This surprised me...with the signing of the QB coach so quickly...thought this deal must be done.

I read somewhere that they had agreed with a few assistants, but were hesitant to announce them until the paperwork was done after the whole Trgo thing went down. That might be the case with Davidson.

Good to hear they are under contract, the last thing we need is a fire sale on Offense, seriously that Part of the team was actually good, unlike the defense.

Crossman, did what he needed to do with the ST's so I have absolutely no problem with him staying.

agreed that was a davidson choice. I figured he was staying, I would've been shocked and thought that fox was being fired if davidson didn't get a contract worth it's salt.

All the assistant coaches were working under contracts that expired after this season. The team is trying to secure new deals with the rest of the staff, including offensive coordinator Jeff Davidson.

Gantt says most of the offensive guys are in. The team is just a little slow at announcing it. He didn't name Davidson but Davidson is a big enough name that I have to think if he weren't on board, Gantt would have mentioned it.
