DCs that might be available next season due to coaching changes:

- Greg Manusky, 49ers

- Rob Ryan, Browns

- Paul Pasqualoni, Cowboys

- Jim Schwartz, Lions (currently head coach)

- Gunther Cunningham, Lions

- Ron Rivera, Chargers (if he doesn't get a head coaching offer, and he might not)

- Marvin Lewis, Bengals (currently head coach)

- Mike Zimmer, Bengals (another who might get a head coaching job, maybe even in Carolina)

- Jack Del Rio, Jaguars (currently head coach)

List pulled from here (Potential Assistant Coaches)

Because they're the Lions :sosp:

Granted, Millen isn't there anymore, but we're still not quite to the point where I'd call them a stable franchise.

Lovie Smith is another guy I had listed as a potential, but I think hes got a pretty good chance of sticking as long as the Bears don't melt down.

Same can be said for the Browns. They have made big strides now that holmgren in control.

There's rumors that Holmgren wants to coach again.

He's always said his buddy (and former Panthers OC) Gil Haskell deserves the opportunity to be a head coach. If he decides to part ways with Mangini, maybe he'll act on that belief.

(and no, I don't really think Mangini would be a potential DC; at least not for us)

Well everyone is calling for Harbaugh, who wouldn't? An offensive minded head coach would would only excite us fans. He has the run 1st philosophy that we are built for. We have 3 great runningbacks and some WR's with potential. So far so good.

But my question is... How do you know Harbaugh is looking to coach Pro next season?

And if he did, what makes him take the Panthers over the 49ers or even the Cowboys? Dallas already has all the tools on offense to suit his Power Running game with great WR's. And a strong defense. He might want a championship now and not later. Plus he is only 27-21 at Stanford (I believe those are the correct numbers, correct me if I'm wrong). Not much experience at the college level IMO. But I do love his creativity.

Anyone got an answer?

Why!!, Why?!?, Why?

Have you not seen the new uniforms we are going to get?

Why wouldn't he want to come here.
