Panthers await clearance for Clausen to play

After seeing Pierre.......... I'm actually excited that we could have Clausen back this week. Maybe that was the point of bringing in and starting Pierre?

I don't think St. Pierre played that much worse than Clausen has. In fact, I say St. Pierre gave us the same caliber of QB play. Granted, he has no potential to be better as Clausen does......

It took St. Pierre 1 start to get a WR/TE into the endzone.

Moore did it 4 times.

Clausen? zero. (he has a busted play to a RB despite his mutliple starts as his moment of glory).

St. Pierre wasn't as horrible as thought (that is not a compliment.....we just hyped him as being so horrible a 79-0 game was expected).

Not sure where people are coming to the conclusion that what he did.....was really that much worse than standard Clausen football. Let's take out the one long throw....He dinked and dunk like Clausen. Only difference is he got the ball out and over the DL. He also didn't act like a chicken with his head cut off w/ a little pressure. Assuming his cast didn't drop lots of easy balls......he was just as good as Clausen as shown up until the 2nd half of hte 4th quarter.

Like I said, look at every Carolina QB that has started....and every rookie QB in the NFL. Clausen has multiple starts and not gotten a single WR or TE into an endzone. Everyone else in the discussion has....others with less chances.

start Clasuen b/c of potential....not this thought that Clausen has looked obviously better. If he has been better it hasn't be a degree worth noting.

It's just something about seeing a guy our team drafted with our first pick, and watching him either succeed or fail as the season goes on. It's a lot more interesting than a no name 30 yr old QB that we just signed a week ago. However unfair that is to Pierre.

(By Darin Gantt, [email protected]) You could get the sense from listening to Carolina Panthers coach span class=boldJohn Fox/span on Monday that he'd prefer to start span class=boldJimmy Clausen/span at quarterback Sunday at Cleveland.p/But the way this season has gone, he's not going to lock into anything.

Who cares? the guy sucks ass

hey, maybe I am wrong. Clausen 100% should start. Not claiming otherwise

but please explain how Clausen has been that much better? Whch is what is being claimed. That is my only question. Smart remarks are easy to make.....supporting that claim I think is a tougher task.

how exactly are you saying throwing 2 INTs returned for touchdowns in a one minute span isn't much worse than what we've seen from Clausen...?

not like he has looked all that much better, but at least he isn't scoring more points for the opponent than he is for us...
