No risk and literally no point.  We have tried this before with basketball players who actually HAD a football background as well.  All of them flopped.  At best, training camp and practice squad fodder.

Peppers?

That's not what you said

Yeah, I was talking about the likes of Swole Bones, Sullivan and there was one other forgettable name the team took look at.  Not to mention the washed out tall WRs, QBs etc... that we have tried to convert to TEs.  Again, we suck a developing guys at their natural positions, let alone completely new ones in the NFL, or hell, a completely new sport at it's highest level.

Dude you're really bitter about a bottom of the roster no risk high reward type of signing.  I don't think you can be happy about anything the Panthers do

Bitter, lol!  Embarrassed is more like it.  This is purely a joke or a PR move to get publicity.  There's is zero chance this dude makes the roster.  Honestly, I doubt he'll even make it to camp.

We need to look at some sumo wrestlers and strongmen for the lines while we’re at it

Rugby players for running backs and then sign Messi to be the FG kicker.

According to Tony Pauline, the #Panthers, Falcons, Texans, Eagles, Seahawks and Vikings showed interest in converted TE and Coastal Carolina basketball player Colin Granger on his Pro Day

Atlanta and Carolina then invited him for local and 30 visits respectively

    • What people fail to understand is Lance had a college career that lasted about as long as teenage boys first intercourse.  To say he was raw was an understatement.  So much so that even a QB whisperer had a difficult time molding him into a polished NFL product on top of multiple nagging injuries.  The dud is in his mid-twenties, finally healthy and little miles on the tread.  Low risk, high reward.  If he's available, it would be stupid not to kick the tires.  It took Darnold and Mayfield to hit their 3rd or 4th team for things to finally click.  This is Lance's 3rd stop, I believe.  It's either time for it to click for him or be relegated to a full time backup. Roll the dice....
    • Wrong.  At least we put a QB sneak in the play book and and add plays over 20 yards.
    • I don’t know if people realize that Evan’s was one of the top TE prospects in college  before having some horrible injuries. I wanna say he had two major injuries in back to back seasons which limited his play and dropped his draft stock.
