Was the SF win our last until '12?

We'll have a chance against the Seahawks and Cardinals. Wouldn't place any bets though.

The state of the labor situation depends on who you ask and changes on an almost daily basis. Wouldn't read too much into anything yet.

no way in hell we win in Seattle. Cardinals or Falcons (last game-resting their starters) are our best chances from here on out

I read a report that no progress had been made. Is that largely because the main time to come to an agreement will be the offseason, and what does that do for the Panthers' coaching search?

LPF, there was a recent report, like within the last week, that both sides felt progress was made at a recent meeting. It was more geared towards an 18 game season but that is a major major piece of the CBA.

If there is a labor stoppage, forget Harbaugh, forget Luck. Harbaugh either stays at Stanford or goes to Michigan.

Long read today from Robert Kraft.

He see's a deal happening before the season is over, at least he WANTS a deal before seasons over.

do you have a link? Can't find the right one via google, unless you mean the one from October.

only worry with labor dispute is Players Assoc. being greedy, they may have what they think is a trump card in that their leader(forget name) is tight with Obama, and he may want to play it out to make it look like he 'saved the NFL' or some crap for political gain, by stepping in at last moment before season begins. Other than that too much money to lose by not agreeing to something reasonable.

Falcons might be resting starters, but the race for top seed is still pretty close at this point so I wouldn't count on it just yet. Wouldn't bet on the Cardinals resting starters. They're not much better than we are and pretty well out of the race.

Even if the Falcons are resting their starters, Redman and Snelling could potentially tear us apart haha

In other notes, there just has to be a deal made for next year. I honestly don't see how or why the owners and players would be willing to remove the top sport in the entire country for a year. Neither side truly wants that to happen. I just can't see the NFL not happening for an entire year in this country.

Or maybe '13?

What are the odds we're going to have a season next year? From what I've heard, the chances of no NFL are about 99 percent. So are we gonna be waiting until '12 or '13 for another win?

There are some winnable games left. This team is making progress. Goodson is a beast, the defense is up and down but still makes plays, we've gotten big punt returns in each of the last two weeks. We'll get another win soon.
