Which one of these players under contract next year has the most trade value?

Once we determine who, do you think it would be worth trading them to try and fill other holes on are team.

Biggest needs next year as I see it would be

DT

DE

CB-opposite of Gamblee

RG

O-line depth

Free Safety

W.R. depth

Uprgrade at Tight End

I'm afraid we wont be able to find enough value for them that it would make any of them expendable enough, except Clausen if we get Luck.

I just wanna figure out a way to fill all of the holes. Even if we got a 2nd round pick, I dont think we can sign enough free agents this offseason to fix our d-line and offensive line and then find someone to replace Marshall and also upgrade our T.E'S, W.R depth, and replace Godfrey

depends, if we want to benefit with draft picks like the Pats do and rejuvenate our roster, then you make trades before players get old..

If you want to stay sentimental, you allow every panther to play until they can no longer walk..

IMO, we need to do a better job of trading players before their contract ends..

Out of those guys, it has to be Stewart.. however, he is signed for a while, so we could allow him to improve his stock.

we are at a point now where Smitty needs to stay.. I don't know what we would get for him, and he is our only threat at WR until Gettis and/or LaFell come into their own..

Hopefully Luck will continue to impress and teams in desperate need for a qb continue to be in desperation. That way we can trade the number one overall for a lot of picks. In free agency we enter the bid for Logan Mankins. As for who has the most trade value, it is definitely Stewart. He's young, and he has shown what he can do. Yet if we were looking at young guys, Goodson might be a way better choice to trade than Stewart. (If he can bring in another first round pick for us.)

Ya it sucks that we are not in a position to get equal value(compared to what their worth to us) back in our only possible expendable positions.

Goodson's stock is high right now. I would not be surprised if we did not trade him to another team. Could also be the reason we are giving Gettis some snaps at KR. I guess we will see how the rest of the year plays out.

Oh BTW we were fools for not trading Sutton this year when we had the chance. We prob could have got a 3rd round pick out of some team.

JStew for sure, I think he could fetch a low 2nd round pick for a team looking for a power runner, people are going to be worried about him staying healthy though. As good as Steve is no one is going to give up a 2nd for someone in decline like that, Brandon Marshall and Anquan Boldin got 2nds so Steve should get a 3rd. 2 years ago he gets a 1st

    • To the last part. Evero sucks at generating pressure unless he’s going up against a beat up OL like the Jets. However.. he does do a good job of having the DL/LBs contain. Hes even mentioned that’s part of the reason that they struggle to rush the QBs because he doesn’t want guys moving out of containment.
    • If there was ever a game to get behind that offensive line and the run the rock with Rico it's this game.   Only one team has been worst than Buffalo at stopping the run this season and that's Miami and we saw what happened in that game with Dowdle. Buffalo of course has one of the most dynamic offenses so the more time we can keep that offense off the field the better sustaining drives will be crucial. Atlanta had their way with Buffalo in their last game that scire could have easily been 28-7 at the half. With that said with an improved vertical passing attack and emphasis on the run game Carolina pulls the upset 24-17
    • This sounds just like a lot of Panthers fan during Bryce's rookie year
