it seemed like you were grilling Hurney for the draft and JR for FA. All the players you listed with Hurney were drafted except for Delhome, you said it was all luck. That's a ridiculous way to judge his performance and it's entirely baseless.

Go look down the lists of the drafts Hurney has been GM for and he's done pretty well. I know he hopped aboard in 98 but I think he assumed full responsibility in 2002.

Wtf are you talking about? That's horrible, especially considering we had a Super Bowl run in that span of time. That spells mis-management of key positions by the front office to me.

I probably should have explained better. We should have high standards but we are not Lions/Raiders levels of bad.

People keep wanting to paint the franchise worse than it really is. The only teams that haven't had a 10+ loss season this decade were the Colts/Pats. It's pretty obvious what they have in common. Every single other franchise has had at least one down year with many being downright terrible.

You can see the glass half full or half empty; but saying we're going to tred water like the Lions is seeing the glass slightly full of vomit.
