A fan asked of the Pistons, asked Chad Ford if there was any chance Richard Hamilton gets traded because of his behavior that has taken place of late.

Chad Responds,

"Pistons have been close on a few things with Rip, almost landed Tyson Chandler this summer ... but he's not helping himself right now. I think Charlotte is one of the few teams out there with genuine interest."

I don't know if this is the most reliable piece of information, however considering all things what would you guys think of adding Rip to the Bobcats?

Personally, I am against getting older and Richard Hamilton is just another version of Stephen Jackson on top of that what would the Bobcats be willing to give up to get him? I am not buying this rumor and I pray that the Bobcats don't give me reason to.

I know he is expensive but what are we giving up for him? If we could get him and have him be the 6th man off the bench then he would give us the scoring we need off the bench that this team has lacked since we lost flip. What if Diop and Diaw are the ones leaving. I won't say no until I see some more info. This team just needs to make some kind of move.

I say burn it all down,

Fire Brown

Trade Jax, Crash, diaw.... whomever for what ever as long as its either draft picks or young players with plenty of promise.

Keep DJ, TT, Henderson and Brown. Fill in the rest with the picks and young players and start the rebuilding process.....

please... MJ.....

    • I presented that scenario because this is a home game and we seemed to have improved in some capacity in that area as of recently. The problem with the possibility of sweeping the Bucs is this team has had a habit of quickly falling victim to momentum shifts. The Bucs are coming off a bitter loss the same as the Panthers but the Bucs have a much better proven track record this time of year and they have performed when the pressure is on unlike our Panthers. We have a shot against the Seahawks here in BOA but that is a matchup that could quickly get out of hand because they are a well coached team and that goes back to the momentum shifts I mentioned. I just don't see this team beating the Bucs in their stadium to close the season. Tall order to say the least.
    • I’d give it another year for Sanders and Evans, I don’t much care what you do with Tremble’s spot. Let him have another year or maybe replace him. Haven’t looked at his contract so that may be the determining factor.
    • Following the crazy up down pattern we finish 9-8 with an improbable sweep of TB, and lay an egg in the home playoff game.  I don’t know if I can sign on to sweeping TB but I suppose it’s possible, they aren’t really that good this year.    ps I can buy beating TB Sunday and losing to Seattle.  Then it just gets to can you fluke one game. Any given Sunday. So we’ll see.
