Kansas City is a JOKE

They played the NFC West along with playing in the AFC West, an already pretty horrible division. KC didn't play one team worth a sh!t this year besides Indianapolis, who took a step back this year and is scrambling to make the playoffs in the final week. That's the luckiest schedule I've ever seen. Of course a mediocre team could scrape out 10 wins with that plate of games. No way Todd Haley deserves to be Coach of the Year.

I expect KC to be murdered by whoever they play...Jets, Ravens or Steelers.

And we are griping about the NFC West being the worst division in football. AFC West is a very close second. KC just didn't suck AS bad as the rest of the teams in those divisions. If the Rams didn't have to play the NFC South and get beat down by the Saints and Falcons, they'd have the same record as KC with the privilege of playing teams like the Broncos and Raiders. Rant off.

NFL Playoffs should let in the teams with the best records, regardless of division.

I would take their FO and coaching staff in a fuging second...

they might not be there yet, but KC will be causing these threads to eat crow in a couple years..

They are the next Texans, but it'll be interesting to see if they can change the attitude in KC to a "winning attitude".. that's the Texans downfall..

You just kind of contradicted your point in that paragraph.

According to you Kansas City played a Easy schedule therefore they have won all the games they did...

A team maybe better than that who has a worst record, but played a tougher schedule...

Letting the teams with the best record go means Kansas City will go and not the team who actually played a tougher schedule.

I'll agree with on about BAL and PIT, but I think they could take the Jets in the WC game. Even if KC has a short stay in the playoffs, they've got the foundation to be a playoff contender. With Cassel, Charles, Bowe, and Moeaki - they're in a good place with their skill guys on O. Hali, Johnson, Berry are a very good place to start with their D. KC should be a factor in the West for the foreseeable future.

I'd add McCluster, Flowers, & especially Derrick Johnson to that list

KC has a young, fast, and talented team. If they can keep it up, they could be really hard to beat in a year or 2

but their the best running team in the league so that means according to the other half of this board they're most likely to win the superbowl

I don't understand why Charlie Weiss would leave a pro team for a college team. Is KC that bad? I would like to congratulate the Chiefs for the season they have had. Sure their schedule might of been bad but this team has sucked for years and their team isn't that bad and they have good coaches and a young team which could dominate the west for years.

    • Maybe a bit of a homer take but I can't give us a grade lower than A.   Freeling was arguably the best LT prospect in the draft.  His athletic ability is off the chart and at 6'7" that can move.  It was a no brainer pick.   Hunter's key word is Violence. Putting him next to Brown should scare an offensive coordinator. These two give Scourton and Phillips plenty of chances to get one on one opportunities. Brazzell, another tall receiver with sprinter speed.  Our WR room is filled with tall talented WR.  Brazzell is going to give us a WR that can take to roof off the defense.  Basically Jimmy Horn with size. W. Lee III has a nickname of the Blanket. (heard this on the Beleav podcast with J. Stewart)  What a great name.  A great value in the 5th round. Hecht A strong, fast and extremely smart center. Many had him listed as the best center in the draft.  He's most likely a starter sooner than later. Wheatley A good safety in round 5.  Someone who could see playing time.   Kuwatch  I love this pick.  At minimum he will be a key piece on special teams and with some good coaching he'll see some packages where he'll play.  His down piece is he doesn't stay up in the running game.  Good coaching will fix this.  He reminds me a bit of A.J. Klein.   All these picks were great value.  I believe everyone of them were graded higher than the pick we took them.   Dan Morgan is IMO doing a great job turning this team into a good team with great depth.
    • Moton is a class act.
    • Sure, that is possible. That’s what, an extra 55 yards a game on average and 7 more TDs? What if he’s just 15th?  I imagine they would extend him in that situation due to the belief that he’ll keep trending up. maybe a 3 year contract to prove he can be top 10? Sounds like a Tepper plan.
