What of Jeff Davidson?

With Fox now having a job, it's possible he takes Davidson along. Probably not as OC (Mike McCoy is expected to retain that title) or OL Coach (Magazu looks to be on his way there) but it could be for the TEs (no word on Fox pursuing Geep Chryst yet).

There was also a report that Davidson could get a chance to interview for the Vikings about an assistant coach job in Minnesota. Mike Tice is their current OL coach so you wouldn't expect it to be that spot. Their TE Coach (Jimmie Johnson) is less established than Tice, but has done a decent job.

However, word leaked out a little while back that the Vikes were looking to part ways with previous OC Darrell Bevell.

Could Davidson be up for that spot? :sosp:

No way Denver would let Davidson come along. You know Fox threw Davidson under the bus....Denver will soon find out that Fox puts his thumbprint on every OC though

I think Fox will focus on defense and ease off the offensive ignorance of run run run Elway probably won't allow it because he is a great quarterback and knows offense thoroughly.

I wish him well, glad he's gone. I say after the way our offense has looked there's no reason a team should hire him to do anything outside of being a position coach.

    • i presented this in another thread. he throws better to the out breaking routes the wr run, but almost nothing to the inside. that is half the options on a wr route tree. How do you run an offense like that?  even the outbreaking routes he throws are moonballs, that allow the DBs to catch up unless the wr is wide open. he has to throw with a lot of anticipation becuase he doesnt have the arm strenght to get it there if he is a little late. thats probably why you see balls behind the wrs.
